MEGA FLOW FANS
IMPORTANT!
BEFORE INSTALLING
1. Inspect fan for damage in transit. Check for
loose, missing, or damaged parts.
2. If there are any missing parts or if there is
any shipping damage, do not attempt to
operate fan. Contact your Distributor.
1. Disconnect power source before installing or
servicing fan. Failure to disconnect power
source can result in property damage,
serious injury, or death.
2. When connected to an automatic controller,
FAN MAY START AT ANY TIME.
3. IMPORTANT! Before Operating Fan, Inspect
Fan For any Object That May Obstruct Blade
Rotation.

MAINTENANCE
1. Read WARNING statements before proceeding.
2. Blades, motor, and wire guards should be
cleaned periodically to decrease vibration and
ensure maximum fan life. Remove dirt with a
dry brush or compressed air. DO NOT SPRAY
MOTOR WITH WATER OR CLEANING FLUIDS.
3. Clean and inspect periodically to ensure
maximum fan performance.
When this fan is used in a life support ventilation
system where failure could result in loss or
injury, the user should provide adequate backup
ventilation, or accept the risk of such loss or
injury.

WARRANTY
Your fan has been manufactured with the finest materials and
components available, and is backed by a one year warranty
against electrical and mechanical defects in material and
workmanship. If this fan fails to operate during this period, return it
prepaid to the place of purchase for repair or replacement without
charge at the manufacture’s option. Damage by accident or abuse
is not covered by this warranty. This warranty gives you specific
legal rights and you may have other rights that vary from state to
state.

36" Mega Flow Fan may be supported
by post mounting or by suspension
from ceiling.
48" Mega Flow Fan MUST BE CEILING
MOUNTED ONLY. Do not attempt to
post mount 48" fan!
Suspension Mount (36" & 48")
1. Determine location where fan will be installed.
2. Attach top support chains and rear chain to fan
using S-hooks and eye bolts as shown in Fig. 1 on
page 1.
3. Suspend fan by using S-hooks to connect chains
to ceiling mounts.
Post Mount (36" Only)
1. Determine location where fan will be installed.
2. Install bolts or lag screws to securely fasten
bracket to post or wall ( Fig. 2). NOTE: Bolts & lag
screws not included.
3. Extend pivot sleeve fully from support arm.
4. Rotate pivot sleeve to place 'set pin' holes
and bolt attachment holes at top and bottom of
sleeve (Fig. 2).
5. Screw lock bolt into threaded lock bolt
opening. Securely tighten lock bolt.
6. Lift fan assembly. Insert pivot sleeve
between the flanges of support arm.
7. Align bolt hole in pivot sleeve with the bolt
holes in the top and bottom flanges.
8. Insert bolt through holes in top flange, pivot
sleeve, and bottom flange. Install nut. Tighten
bolt & nut to allow horizontal movement.
9. Rotate fan to desired angle.
10. Insert set pin through set hole in top flange of
support bracket (See detail AA).
11. Carefully loosen lock bolt on support arm.
CAUTION: Fan is released when lock bolt is
loosened. Hold fan housing to
prevent sudden movement of fan.
12. Rotate fan to desired tilt angle. Tighten lock
bolt.
13. Securely tighten all bolts and nuts at this
point of installation.
14. Installation complete.

NOTE: 48" Fan may be ceiling mounted only
using support bracket. Attach bracket to ceiling
joist. Suspend 48" fan Vertically only!
