
Auto Shutoff: The headset is equipped with an Auto Power-off feature to conserve
battery. If AUX and Bluetooth function are not in use, the headset will automati-
cally turn off 15 minutes after the last intercom signal was received or if
unplugged from the instrument panel. If AUX or Bluetooth function is still in use
after disconnecting from the panel, the headset will automatically turn off one
hour after the headset is unplugged from the instrument panel.
Installing Batteries: To Insert or change batteries, press from the base of the
triangle on the cover and slide the cover out of the safety lock. Tilt the end of
the cover upward and remove the cover. Install the batteries and put the cover
latch into the notch and up to lock.
Battery Use Warning:
—Use only alkaline batteries, observing proper polarity.
—Do not use other battery chemistries.
—Do not mix old batteries with new batteries.
—Shut the power off when ANR is not in use.
—Remove batteries if headset will be stored for an extended period.
Stereo/Mono Mode: The H2 also supports two-channel or stereo intercom
systems. The s/m switch inside the battery box allows the headset to be changed
between stereo and mono. "M" for mono output and "S" for stereo. Choose the
mode according to your intercom audio output setting.
Prepare the Headset for Use:

Rotate the flexible boom to wear the micro-
phone on either the right or left side of the head.

Rotate the headset volume
control down to the minimum position.

With the headband resting securely on
the top of the head, check that the ear seals are centered over the ears.

For
best noise cancellation, position the microphone in front of your lips.

Insert the
microphone plug and the earphone plug into the appropriate intercom jack.

Adjust volume control up to a comfortable level.

To use the Auxiliary (AUX)
function, Insert the 3.5mm plug of your external device into the AUX jack on the
side of battery box as indicated. The volume is controlled by your audio device.

Powering On: The H2 ANR requires two AA batteries.
To power on the headset, press and hold the power
button for 1 second. This will turn on the ANR function.
To turn off the ANR function, press and hold the power
button for about 2 seconds. ANR will be turned off.
Status Light Indications:
—Flashes green every 3 sec.—battery full
—Flashes amber every 2 sec.—battery low
—Flashes red every 1 sec.—replace battery
Bluetooth Operations: Press and hold the Bluetooth
button for 1 second to turn on the Bluetooth function.
Choose the desired mode by sliding the mode switch
to A, B, or C. Note that Bluetooth works only when the
mode setting switch is positioned on A or B. A: Intercom
Priority —When intercom is busy, Bluetooth and AUX will be muted. B: This
position of the switch will mix Intercom, Bluetooth and AUX. All three channels
are open. C: Intercom Only – Only intercom is on. Bluetooth and AUX are both off.
The prioritization of Bluetooth and AUX is: Bluetooth phone >AUX > Bluetooth
music.
Bluetooth Volume: To adjust the Bluetooth volume control, Press ”+” or “-” to
increase or decrease the volume of the bluetooth connected device. You will
hear a BEEP when full volume is reached.
Pairing: The headset bluetooth name is BT-ANR;
pairing code: 0000 (four zeros). Find BT-ANR
and press ”pair” on your bluetooth device.
When Bluetooth button is on, it searches and
connects to the last paired device.
Making and Receiving Calls: Click the Bluetooth button twice to return the last
incoming call. Press the Bluetooth button to answer the call. To end a call: Press
the Bluetooth button. To reject a call: Press and hold the Bluetooth button for 2
seconds to reject an incoming call.
Bluetooth Status Light Indications:
—Flashes blue and red—pairing.
—Flashes red twice—disconnected.
—Flashes blue—device connected. Short flash in blue—line busy.
