2. Position steel mount and loosely fit M10 x 35 fine
thread bolts with spring and flat washers.
3. Before fitting: Check M12 bolt screws into nut plate.
Fit M12 x 50 bolt with spring and flat washer,
into top hole in steel mount.
4. Slide M12 nut plate up inside chassis and align with
M12 bolt. Hand tighten M10 & M12 bolts.
Repeat steps 1 –4 for driver side.
Note: Leaving bolts loose allows mounts to align
when fitting nudge bar.
5. Fit nudge bar to steel mounts using M10 x 35 bolts
with flat and spring washers. Align bar with vehicle and
tighten all bolts.
Note: If bar does not align, the steel mounts can be slightly
adjusted. On the low side, remove the rear fine thread bolt
and fit one or two M10 flat washers between the mount and
chassis. Then on the opposite mount (the high side),
remove the front fine thread bolt and fit one or two M10 flat
washers between the mount and chassis.
Note: Torque setting for M10 bolt - 44Nm
M12 bolt - 77Nm
NOTES
•Check that the kit contents are complete and undamaged prior to installation. Kit contents must be
replaced with specified accessory components.
•Do not attach the bar to the vehicle using anchorages not intended for this purpose.
•Do not use the bar for any vehicle other than those specified by the bar manufacturer.
•Do not remove labels from the bar.
•Do not modify the structure of the bar in any way.
•We recommend that a rust preventative is applied where holes are drilled.
•The use of an alloy polish such as ‘Auto Sol’ is recommended for extra shine, however hot soapy water
will also clean well.
