Sniper 2 EFI Power Distribution Module (PDM)
OVERVIEW
The Sniper Power Distribution Module (PDM) was
designed to simplify powering the installation of your
system in a compact package that is rugged and reliable.
The simple connections and no need for configuration
make for an easy and quick installation.
The PDM’s diagnostic LEDs will provide an alert if a
short is detected.
Mounting
The PDM’s compact and sealed design can be mounted under the hood in a
location not exposed to direct heat sources, such as the exhaust system.
Use the supplied mounting hardware to secure the PDM into place.
installation
The PDM provides Power, Ground, and Switched Connections for many
components within a system on a vehicle such as the Throttle Body, Fuel
pump, Ignition module, and Fan (Optional).
On the PDM lid, you’ll find a diagram that details all power, input and output
locations along with the LED functions.
NOTE: The Sniper PDM will have 100 mA or less draw when connected to the battery, and it is
recommended for cars that sit for longer periods of time before being driven, to use a trickle
charger while sitting.
Battery
Install the Battery (+) and Battery (-) wires to the heavy-duty Wire Lugs on the PDM.
NOTE: Always disconnect the Battery Negative (-) terminal first and attach it last.
Keyed Ignition
Install the keyed ignition wire on terminal 16.
CDI IGNTION
Connect the CDI Ignition Main Power (+), Main Ground (-), Switched 12V, and Points
to their corresponding locations.
Fan & Fuel Pump
Review the install drawing on pages 2 and 3 for a typical installation of the Sniper 2
system using a Fuel Pump and Fan.
