wit flat panel TVs and audio/video equipment meeting
recommended size and weig t limits. Never use wit larger/ eavier
t an recommended flat panel TVs or equipment. To avoid instability,
place flat panel TV in t e center of t e unit; t e base of t e
television must be able to rest on t e supporting surface of t e
unit wit out over- anging t e edges. Improperly positioned flat
panel TVs, or flat panel TVs or ot er equipment t at exceed
recommended size and weig t limits could fall off or break t e unit,
causing possible serious injury.

Do not fully tig ten
all bolts until you finis assembling all parts. Once assembled, go back and fully tig ten all bolts. T is will make t e
assembly easier. Refer to t e dowel assembling guide drawings in t is step for furt er clarification on ow to properly glue in t e wooden dowels.
Apply t is met od w enever instructed to install wood dowels
□Unpack t e unit and confirm t at you ave all t e ardware and required parts. Assemble t e unit on a carpeted floor or t e empty
carton to avoid any scratc es.
□Glue two wood dowels (AA) into t e inner oles of t e left lower partition panel (E) and attac it to t e base (C) by inserting two bolts
(BB) wit lock was ers (CC) and flat was ers (DD) t roug t e cleat and screw into place.

Installing t e adjustable s elves

unit uprig t.
□Insert four s elf pins (GG) into t e desired oles inside eac side compartment. Tilt and rest t e adjustable s elves (L) onto
t e s elf pins (GG) and secure in place wit t e screws (FF).

Installing t e doors
□
Attac one knob (HH) to t e front side of
t e
left door (G) wit t e knob bolt (II).
□Pick up t e left door (G) and attac t e extended inge arms to t e inge bases installed on t e left lower side panel (D). Loosen t e bolt
on t e back of t e inge base for an easy fit. Align and insert t e “U” slot on t e inge arm under t e bolt ead on t e back of t e inge
base. Make sure t at bot door inges engage and function properly. Tig ten t e bolt on t e inge base to lock t e inges in place.
□Repeat t e same procedure to attac t e rig t door (H) at t e opposite side.
□Open and close t e doors to make sure t ey are aligned and s ut correctly. If necessary, adjust t e screws for a good fit. Refer to t e
inge sticker on t e door for adjustment.

Installing t e fireplace insert
□Lift t e fireplace insert carefully into t e back of t e assembled mantel and center it in t e opening. DO NOT drag t e insert across t e
base (C) as it may scratc t e unit.

Installing t e acrylic stopper
□Remove t e paper backing from t e acrylic stopper (MM), t en properly align t e acrylic stopper into t e cut-out on t e acrylic stopper
template on t e front of t e top panel (A). Press down on t e acrylic stopper to elp ad esion.
□At t e back of t e top panel (A), carefully pull out t e t umb tacks to remove t e acrylic stopper template.
NOTE: You must install t e acrylic TV stopper to prevent TV from tipping w en placing your flat panel television on t e top panel.

Installing t e tipping restraint ardware
WARNING: Young children can be seriously injured by tipping furniture You must install the tipping restraint hardware with
the unit to prevent the unit from tipping, causing any accidents or damage The tipping restraints are intended only as a
deterrent, they are not a substitute for proper adult supervision The tipping restraints are not earthquake restraints If you wish
to add the extra security of earthquake restraints, they must be purchased and installed separately
□Wit assistance, position t e assembled fireplace at t e desired location against a wall. In case of uneven floor, floor levelers are
provided at t e bottom of t e mantel. If necessary, adjust t e floor levelers by and to correct tilting, until t e unit is level.
□Follow t e instructions printed on t e plastic bag containing t e tipping ardware to attac t e tip-over restraint to t e unit and t e
wall.
□Connect t e fireplace to t e power transformer. Follow t e operating manual for t e electric fireplace insert to control your fireplace.
