Important safety instructions
When using your stand mixer, basic safety precautions should always be followed:
1 Read all the instructions carefully, and keep them in a safe place.
2 This product has not been designed for any uses other than those specified
in this manual.
3 Before connecting the stand mixer, check if the voltage indicated on the
appliance corresponds with the mains voltage in your home. If this is not the
case, contact your dealer, and do not use the appliance.
4 Do not operate the stand mixer with a damaged cord or if it has been
dropped or damaged.
5 Do not allow the cord to touch hot surfaces. Let the stand mixer cool
completely before storing it.
6 Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
7 Never pull on the cord, as this may damage it and eventually cause a risk of
electric shock.
8 If the supply cord of this appliance is damaged, it must only be replaced
by a service agent appointed by the manufacturer, as special purpose tools
are required.
9 To avoid a circuit overload, do not operate another high wattage
appliance on the same circuit.
10 If it is absolutely necessary to use an extension cord, a 10-ampere cord
should be used. Cords rated for less amperage may overheat. Care should
be taken to arrange the cord so that it cannot be accidentally pulled or
tripped over.
11 The stand mixer must be used on stable, heat-resistant surface.
12 When disconnecting the stand mixer, turn the temperature control knob to
the OFF position before removing the plug from the power outlet.
13 Ensure that there is sufficient ventilation around the appliance, and never
operate the stand mixer in close proximity of a flame, easily flammable
materials (curtains, textiles, etc.), a radiator, an oven or any other
heat sources.
14 Close supervision is necessary for any appliance being used by or near
children. Do not leave the stand mixer unattended while connected to the
power supply.
15 This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children)
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience
and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning the use of this appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
16 Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the
appliance.
17 Do not leave the appliance exposed to the weather (rain, sun), and never
operate the Quattro buffet server outdoors.
If you nd that something is missing, please do not assemble. Contact our Customer Service on 021 680 8000.

Before using your buffet server
NB: There will be a faint smell when using your buffet server for the first time. Please
note that this is normal, and will fade with use.
WARNING: This appliance will become hot during use. Please exercise extreme
caution when handling it.
1. Plug the buffet server into the main power supply. The main power indicator
light will glow red. The heating indicator light will glow green when the
switch is turned clockwise, and will turn OFF when the desired temperature
is reached.
2. Place the prepared food into each of the individual buffet trays and adjust
the temperature to the desired heat. The indicator light will alternate
between ON and OFF while the correct temperature is being maintained.
Please note that it is not recommended to keep your buffet server in use
for more than 6 – 8 hours.
3. After use, unplug the buffet server from the mains power supply and allow it
to cool thoroughly.
Using the warming tray on its own
1. Place the warming tray on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
2. Plug the appliance into the mains power supply and press the ON switch.
3. The heating indicator light will glow green when the switch is turned
clockwise, and will turn OFF when the desired temperature is reached.

5. The warming tray can reach a temperature of 85°C/185°F while connected
to the mains – as such, extreme caution must be exercised while it is in use.
6. Food placed on the warming tray must be pre-cooked and pre-heated, as
this buffet server is not designed to heat cold or frozen food.
7. When you have finished using the buffet server, unplug it from the mains
power supply and allow it to cool for approximately 90 minutes before
storing it.

and has thoroughly cooled before cleaning or storing it.
1. Remove each of the individual buffet trays and wash them and their lids in
