TO CONVERT WEIGHT UNITS
The default unit of measure is grams (g) to change to imperial measures (lb.oz)
press g-oz at any time during weighing.
To use the Aquatronic™ liquid measure function press ml-fl.oz to change between
millilitres (ml) or fluid ounces (fl.oz).
The Aquatronic™ liquid measure feature is suitable for all water based liquids,
including wine, milk, stock, cream etc.
Note: Oils have a lower specific gravity, which will result in a volume reading of
approx +10%. If measuring oils by volume on this scale, please adjust for this
accordingly.
SOLIDS: g = grammes, oz = ounces, lb = pounds
LIQUIDS: ml = millilitres, fl.oz = fluid ounces
If your recipe shows litre or pint measures: 1 litre = 1000 ml, 1 pint = 20 fl.oz,
1/2 pint = 10 fl.oz, 1/4 pint = 5 fl.oz
TO ADD AND WEIGH
To weigh several dierent ingredients in one bowl, press to reset the display
between each ingredient.
AUTO SWITCH OFF
Auto switch-o occurs if display shows 0 for 1 minute or shows the same weight
reading for 3 minutes.
SWITCH OFF
Press and hold button (approx. 3 seconds) until the display is blank.

CLEANING AND CARE
• If the scale is not being used for a long period, remove the batteries.
Always remove flat batteries immediately.
• DO NOT immerse the scale in water or use chemical/abrasive cleaning agents.
• The outer casing of the scale may be wiped clean with a damp cloth and the
bowl can be washed by hand or by dishwasher.
WEEE EXPLANATION
This marking indicates that this product should not be disposed with other
household wastes throughout the EU. To prevent possible harm to the
environment or human health from uncontrolled waste disposal, recycle it
responsibly to promote the sustainable reuse of material resources. To return your
used device, please use the return and collection systems or contact the retailer
where the product was purchased. They can take this product for environmental
safe recycling.
GUARANTEE
This product is intended for domestic use only. Salter will repair or replace the
product, or any part of this product, (excluding batteries) free of charge if within
15 years of the date of purchase, it can be shown to have failed through defective
workmanship or materials. This guarantee covers working parts that aect the
function of the scale. It does not cover cosmetic deterioration caused by fair wear
and tear or damage caused by accident or misuse. Opening or taking apart the
scale or its components will void the guarantee. Claims under guarantee must be
supported by proof of purchase and be returned carriage paid to Salter (or local
Salter appointed agent if outside the UK). Care should be taken in packing the
scale so that it is not damaged while in transit. This undertaking is in addition to a
consumer’s statutory rights and does not aect those rights in any way.
