Der Einbau und die Installation des OMC 100 REG darf nur durch eine
Elektrofachkraft erfolgen!
Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch
Das Gerät dient als zentrale Komponente für die Festinstallation und macht den
Aufbau eines POF-Verteilers in einer herkömmlichen Unterverteilung möglich.
Benutzen Sie das Gerät zu keinem anderen Zweck. Betreiben Sie das Gerät nur in
Innenräumen.
The mounting and installation of the OMC 100 REG should only
be performed by a qualified electrician!
Intended use
The device is a central component for fixed installation and permits the
establishment of a POF distribution in a customary sub distribution unit.
Only use this device for these purposes. Operate the device indoor only.

1. Setzen Sie den OMC 100 REG auf die
Hutschiene auf und rasten Sie ihn ein.
1. Place the OMC 100 REG on the DIN-rail and
latch it in.
Zuschneiden und Anschließen Cutting and connecting the POF-cable
Nach dem Verlegen des Kabels längen Sie es mit dem
POF-Schneidewerkzeug folgendermaßen ab und
achten Sie darauf, dass beide Adern gleich lang sind:

appropriate length by using the POF-Cutter as
described below and make sure that both fibres are
equally long:

Trennen Sie das Kabel vorsichtig in der Mitte auf
und achten Sie darauf, dass keine Unebenheiten
des Mantels das Einführen des Kabels behindern
können.
2. Führen Sie es in das POF-Schneidewerkzeug ein
und schneiden Sie es durch Druck auf die Klinge
ab.
3. Öffnen Sie die POF-Klemme durch leichtes
Ziehen am schwarzen Anschluss.
4. Entfernen Sie die rote Schutzkappe.
5. Führen Sie das POF-Kabel ein und achten Sie
darauf, dass es bis zum Anschlag geschoben
wird, um eine sichere Verbindung zu
gewährleisten (ca. 2,5 mm).
6. Schließen Sie die POF-Klemme, indem Sie den
schwarzen Anschluss in die Geräteöffnung
schieben.

2. Insert the cable into the POF-Cutter and cut it by
pressing the blade.
3. Open the POF-terminal by slightly pulling out the
black terminal.
4. Remove the red protection cap.
5. Insert the POF-cable. Make sure that it is pushed
all the way up to the stop to guarantee a safe
connection (app. 2.5 mm).
6. Close the POF-terminal by pushing the terminal
into the opening.

Schalten Sie bei Montagearbeiten zunächst
die Netzspannung frei.

Disconnect the main voltage first before
doing any mounting works.
Beachten Sie bitte auch die zulässige
Betriebstemperatur des Gerätes. Nicht neben
Geräten mit hoher Wärmeentwicklung installieren!
Please also observe the permitted operation
temperature. Do not install beside next to devices
with high heat evolution!

Ausgang der Spannungsversorgung mit „+“ und
„-“ des Gerätes verbinden.
8. Öffnen Sie die Staubschutzkappe und schließen
Sie Ihr Ethernet Gerät über Patchkabel am RJ45
Anschluss an.

8. Remove the dust cover and connect your
ethernet device to the RJ45 interface via patch
cable.
