Premium Bread Maker

Safety Instructions
The Homegear Premium Bread Maker should be kept away from children.
The Homegear Premium Bread Maker is not to be used by children or by adults with reduced
sensory or mental capabilities.
If the electrical cord on the Homegear Premium Bread Maker is damaged, do not use and
consult a qualified electrician.
Do not let the cord from the Homegear Premium Bread Maker hang over any edges.
The Homegear Premium Bread Maker is for household use only.
Before using the Homegear Premium Bread Maker check that the voltage of the wall outlet
corresponds to the one shown on the Homegear Premium Bread Maker.
To protect against electrical shocks never immerse the Homegear Premium Bread Maker in
water.
When the Homegear Premium Bread Maker is not in use always unplug it from the outlet.
Never place the Homegear Premium Bread Maker near any hot surfaces.
The Homegear Premium Bread Maker is only to be used indoors.
When setting up the Homegear Premium Bread Maker make sure that it is placed on flat non
slip surface.
Never operate the Homegear Premium Bread Maker without the bread pan being placed in the
chamber
Never hit the bread pan on the edges to remove it, as this could cause it to become stuck.
The Homegear Premium Bread Maker is only to be cleaned with a soft damp cloth.
The Homegear Premium Bread Maker is not to be immersed in water.
Do not touch any moving parts.
The Homegear Premium Bread Maker is not to be operated by an external timer.
The Homegear Premium Bread Maker can become hot when in use.

Loaf
Programs 1-9 have the option to choose the bread weight. Press 500g/750g or 1000g as required. This
option is not available for programs 10-19
Colour
Select the bread colour of your loaf by pressing “colour”. There are 3 options: light, medium and dark
Start/Stop/Pause
Press this button to start or stop the Homegear Premium Bread Maker at any time. Hold the button
down until you hear a buzz and the unit either stops or starts.
Holding this button briefly will start the “pause “function. This stops the countdown and lets you add
ingredients if you wish. Pushing this again will start the function.
Plus +
Pressing this button will increase the time in 10 minute increments.
Minus –
Pressing this button will decrease the time in 10 minute increments.

Instructions
1. Take out the bread barrel from inside
the Homegear Premium Bread Maker
and align the half round hole of the
stirring rod with the revolving axle and
push it down into place.
2. Add the required ingredients
into the bread barrel. Always
ensure the yeast powder is
added last. Don’t mix the
yeast powder with the water,
sugar and salt otherwise the
activation of the yeast will
not work properly
3. Place the bread barrel which
is now holding the
ingredients back into the
bread maker and twist it to the right to lock it into place.
4. Plug the Homegear Premium Bread Maker into an electric outlet. Once plugged in a buzzer will
sound and the indicator displays will light up.
5. Press "menu" to select the desired program
6. If you have selected program 1-9, press loaf to choose the size of your bread
7. If you have selected program 1-10, press colour to determine the colour of your crust
8. This step can be used to set your finishing time by pressing the “+” and “-“. For example if you
wish to set the bread to be ready at 6am tomorrow and it is now 10pm you would adjust the
timer to 8.00 hours. This includes the cooking time. Press "Start/Stop will start the countdown
9. After the starting the Homegear Premium Bread Maker the unit begins to stir flour. To avoid the
splashing of flour the program is set for auto stirring for the first 7 minutes. After this it switches
to continuous stirring.

Automatic Fruit Dispenser
1. Open the cover top and push down the lever of the fruit dispenser, which will allow it to be
removed.
2. Open the top of the fruit dispenser and place the required fruit or nuts inside and the close the
lid.
3. To reconnect the fruit dispenser place the 2 pillars in the bottom of the holder and push the
fruit handle in until its set on the lid.

First Use
The Homegear Premium Bread Maker may emit a little smoke and a characteristic smell when you turn
it on for the first time. This is normal and will stop. Make sure the Homegear Premium Bread Maker has
sufficient ventilation.
1. Clean all parts before using for the first time.
2. Check that all parts are free of damage.
3. Set the Homegear Premium Bread Maker on bake mode and bake empty for about 10 minutes.
Let it cool down and clean all the detachable parts again.
4. Dry all parts thoroughly and then re assemble. The Homegear Premium Bread Maker is now
ready for use.

Remove the stems, seeds and stones form your desired fruit and cut into pieces or crush with a potato
masher before placing in the bread maker. Take care as the jam gets extremely hot and can cause
serious burns. It also retains heat for a long period of time, so make sure you allow it to cool before
handling.

Step 1
1. Remove the stirring rod from the bread barrel
2. Place the above ingredients in the bread barrel
3. Turn the power on and select “14” baking” and set time for 40 minutes and press start.
Step 2
4. After the rice has cooked, shut down the function, remove the bread barrel and allow it to sit at
room temperature to cool.
5. Add 5 grams of yeast and 200ml of cold water and stir.
6. Place the rice and yeast into sealable container and cover with cling wrap. Make a small hole in
the middle of the cling wrap

1. Clean the bread barrel and place the sealable container with the contents back into the bread
maker, making sure it is stable.
2. Now select program 16 “wine” and set the timer to 36 hours.
17. Sticky Rice
This program will bake and stir at the same time to form the correct consistency for sticky rice

18. Stir Fry
This program is ideal for preparing stir fry ingredients. It stirs and heats the vegetables continuously until
they are cooked.
19. Ferment
This function will allow you to create your own bread recipes, tailor made to your needs. Place your
dough in the bread pan and select function 19. This will allow your dough to rise for 30 minutes, giving
more depth and flavour.

Cleaning and Maintenance
1. Unplug the Homegear Premium Bread Maker and disconnect from the power supply before
cleaning.
2. Apply a small amount of neutral cleaning solution to a clean soft cloth and wipe the down the
Homegear Premium Bread Maker. Never use an abrasive cleaner.
3. Never place the Homegear Premium Bread Maker in water.
4. After each use always clean the accessories in warm soapy water.
