oney Bee Manufacturing will not be responsible for any paint
deterioration resulting from salt or harsh chemical corrosion if this
equipment is not properly washed after transport. Use a mild soap
solution, then rinse thoroughly.
If this equipment is stored near salted roadways through the winter
months, it should be cleaned each spring.

Warranty
Honey Bee Manufacturing Ltd. (Honey Bee) warrant your new Grain Belt header to be free
of defect in material and workman hip, under normal u e and ervice. Obligation under
thi warranty hall extend for a period of 1 year (12 month ) following the date of delivery to
the original purcha er and hall be limited to, at the option of Honey Bee, replacement or
repair of any part found, upon in pection by Honey Bee, to be defective.
arranty Claims
The purcha er claiming under thi warranty hall report a warranty claim to hi Authorized
Dealer. The dealer hall complete the claim, on the pre cribed form, for in pection by an
authorized company repre entative. Warranty claim mu t be made within 60 day of
warranty expiration.
Limitations of Liability
Thi warranty i expre ly in lieu of all other warrantie expre ed or implied and all other
obligation or liabilitie on our part of any kind or character, including liabilitie for alleged
repre entation or negligence. We neither a ume nor authorize any per on to a ume, on
our behalf, any liability in connection with the ub equent ale of the Grain Belt header.
This warranty shall not apply to any Grain Belt header which has been altered outside
the factory in any way so as in the judgement of oney Bee to affect its operation or
reliability, or which has been subject to misuse, neglect, or accident.

The purcha er acknowledge having received training in the afe operation of the Grain Belt
header and further acknowledge that Honey Bee doe not a ume any liability re ulting from
the operation of the Grain Belt header in any manner other than de cribed in thi manual.

1. Safety
The following are definition for term u ed in thi manual:
Safety Terms

Indicate a potentially hazardou ituation that, if not avoided, may re ult in

practice .
Indicate a potentially hazardou ituation that, if not avoided, could re ult in
death or eriou injury, and include hazard that are expo ed when guard
are removed. It may al o be u ed to warn again t un afe practice .
Indicate an imminently hazardou ituation that, if not avoided, will re ult in
death or eriou injury. Thi i limited to the mo t extreme ituation , where
typically, machine component cannot be guarded for functional purpo e .

Hydraulic Safety
Thi machine i powered by hydraulic oil under high pre ure. Caution mu t
be exerci ed around the machine. Hydraulic fluid under pre ure can
penetrate the kin, cau ing eriou injury, and even death. When looking for a
leak, u e a piece of cardboard or other uitable material. Never u e your
hand to locate the leak.
Alway wear eye protection, glove and long- leeve clothing when working
with hydraulic . The fluid tream from mall leak can be invi ible. Alway
exerci e caution when working around hydraulic .
You can reduce thi hazard by relieving the pre ure before di connecting hydraulic line ,
and by tightening all connection before applying pre ure.
Relieving Hydraulic Pressure - General Procedure:
1. Lower all component , uch a the reel and the header, o that their weight i fully
upported by the ground or by table upport ;
2. Turn off the engine of the combine;
3. Refer to the combine operator' manual for pecific in truction on relieving hydraulic
pre ure in the y tem.
If an accident occur , ee a doctor immediately. Any fluid injected into the kin
mu t be urgically removed within a few hour or gangrene may re ult.
Doctor unfamiliar with thi type of injury hould reference a knowledgeable
medical ource.
