V32/iGSMKT Quick Start Guide
What is in the V32/iGSMKT Kit?
•V32FB-9 Control Panel
•iGSMCN (this is a 7845iGSMCN without the battery and transformer)
•6160CR-2 Alpha Display Keypad
•BSM Battery Saver Module
•Two BNP712 12V 7AH batteries
ULC listings:
ULC S559 Equipment for Fire Signal Receiving Centres and Systems
How to identify ULC labeled iGSM transmitters?
Look for a white paper label on the outside of the box with the ULC logo
and a note that reads “Transformer and Battery not included”. The
actual label is on the inside of the front cover of the iGSM transmitter.
Installation Notes
Installation for the Fire Signal Transmitter must comply with
applicable ULC installation standards S524 and S561.
ULC standards can be purchased online at:
http://www.ulc.ca/ABOUT_ULC/Order_STANDARDS.asp
•The connection between the panel and the iGSMCN requires
mechanical protection
•Use the drilling template (provided with the instructions) to drill two
holes into the iGSMCN back cover in order to mount onto a single
or double gang box
•The connection between the 6160CR-2 and the panel requires
mechanical protection
•The iGSMCN needs to be powered from the V32FB-9. Its own
battery and transformer are not required since it is being powered
by the panel.
•The two 12V 7AH batteries are sufficient for 24 hour standby
power as required by ULC for the panel, keypad and transmitter.
Note: Other powered devices will need their own power supply
and standby battery. The BSM is required to protect the batteries
from a deep discharge.
