APPLICATION
This analogic signal converter is intended to be used
to drive the Honeywell electric modulating regulators
Modureg series, which are used onboard of the VR400
valve series.

IMPORTANT
1. Read these instructions carefully. Failure to follow the
instructions could damage the product or cause a
hazardous condition.
2. Check the ratings given in the instructions and on the
product to make sure the product is suitable for your
application.
3. The installation has to be carried out by qualified
personnel only.
4. Carry out through checkout when installation is
completed.
The modules must be installed, so that the ventilation holes
on both sides of the module lie in a vertical axis (standard
cabinet installation).
Furthermore, the ventilation holes must not be covered in
order to enable sufficient air flow through the module.

MODUREG DRIVER SET UP
INSTRUCTION

1. Before wiring, adjust modureg zero and span using
mechanical adjustment screws.
1.1 Work on the 7 mm plastic nut for the span and on the
9 mm brass nut for the minimum.
1.2 To set the maximum pressure push down the shaft
with a seeger on top, until it reaches 7mm plastic nut.
1.3 To set the minimum pressure turn clockwise the 9
mm brass nut to increase and anti-clockwise to
decrease.
1.4 Connect modureg to the circuit.

2. Electrical minimum set up
2.1 Supply 4 mA.
2.2 Check if the requested outlet pressure has been
reached
(if so, go to point 3).
2.3 If the outlet pressure is different use the zero
adjustment potentiometer to get the requested outlet
pressure.

3. Adjust the minimum outlet pressure through the mechanical
adjustment screw (9 mm brass nut).

4. Check maximum outlet pressure
4.1 Supply 20 mA.
4.2 Adjust the requested pressure with span potentiometer
(max).
4.3 Check again the electrical zero supply 4mA.
4.4 Verify the zero value using 4 mA input signal.

5. Repeat steps 4.1 through 4.4 until the required working
condition are reached
