1. Sicherheitshinweise
Lesen Sie die Anleitung sorgfältig und vollständig durch, bevor Sie das Gerät installieren und in
Betrieb nehmen. Sie erhalten wichtige Hinweise zur Montage, Programmierung und Bedienung.
Das Gerät ist nach dem neuesten Stand der Technik gebaut. Benutzen Sie das Gerät nur:
- bestimmungsgemäß und
- in technisch einwandfreiem und ordnungsgemäß eingebautem Zustand
- gemäß den technischen Daten.
Der Hersteller haftet nicht für Schäden, die durch einen bestimmungswidrigen Gebrauch verursacht
werden.
Installation, Programmierung sowie Wartungs- und Reparaturarbeiten dürfen nur durch autorisiertes
Fachpersonal durchgeführt werden.
Löt- und Anschlussarbeiten innerhalb der gesamten Anlage sind nur im spannungslosen Zustand
vorzunehmen.
Lötarbeiten dürfen nur mit einem temperaturgeregelten, vom Netz galvanisch getrennten Lötkolben
vorgenommen werden.
VDE-Sicherheitsvorschriften sowie die Vorschriften des örtlichen EVU sind zu beachten.
Die Bedienteile dürfen nicht in explosionsgefährdeter Umgebung oder in Räumen mit
metall- und kunststoffzersetzenden Dämpfen eingesetzt werden.
Verwenden Sie zum Reinigen des Gehäuses und der Tastatur nur ein mit Wasser
angefeuchtetes Tuch.
Scharfe Reinigungsmittel oder Chemikalien können die Oberflächen beschädigen
oder verfärben.

2. Allgemeines
Die IK3-Bedienteile dienen als Schaltorgane zur Scharf-/Unscharfschaltung von Einbruchmeldean-
lagen sowie für Zutrittskontroll-Funktionen in Verbindung mit der IK3-Auswerteeinheit und den ent-
sprechenden Datenträgern. Optische und akustische Quittierungen sind vorhanden.
Die Gehäuse-Oberschale ist nachträglich auswechselbar (in verschiedenen Farben).
3. IK-Datenträger
Als IK-Datenträger werden Speichermedien bezeichnet, auf denen die Berechtigungsdaten
gespeichert sind. IK-Datenträger gibt es in verschiedenen geometrischen Formen.
Die Leseeinheit im IK3-Bedienteil kann alle bisherigen IK2-Datenträger verarbeiten.
Für erhöhte Sicherheit können zusätzlich IK3-Schreib-Lese-Datenträger eingesetzt werden, bei
denen nach jedem Lesevorgang die Daten nach einem speziellen Verfahren verändert werden.
Durch die konstruktionsbedingte Lage der Sende-/Empfangsantenne innerhalb der verschiedenen
Ident-Datenträger, ist jeweils eine unterschiedliche Leseposition des Datenträgers zum Bedienteil
notwendig. Der Datenträger sollte etwa in dieses Feld gehalten werden.

Stromsparmodus
5 Sek. nach der letzten Annäherung eines Datenträgers schaltet sich die Leseeinheit in einen
Stromsparmodus. Wird der Datenträger einem Bedienteil im Stromsparmodus genähert, kann es
bis zu 1,2 Sek. dauern, bis er bearbeitet ist. Im aktiven Schreib-/Lesebetrieb erfolgt die Auswertung
innerhalb von 0,9 Sek.

Im Ruhezustand sind alle Anzeigen dunkel. Bei der Durchführung einer Funktion wird die Anzeige
für ca. 5 Sekunden entsprechend der Funktion angesteuert. Details siehe folgende Abbildungen.
Der Zustand der Anzeige wird wie folgt dargestellt:

6. Funktionen durchführen
6.1 Scharf-/unscharfschalten
- IK-Datenträger ins Lesefeld halten und wieder entfernen.
Grüne LED leuchtet.
Gelbe LED leuchtet im Unscharfzustand, im Scharfzustand dunkel.
- Datenträger erneut ins Lesefeld halten (frühestens nach 1 Sek., spätestens nach 4 Sek.).
- Quittierung erfolgt.

6.4 Lernmodus
Im Lernmodus können auf einfache Weise neue Datenträger berechtigt werden.
Um den Lernmodus starten und beenden zu können, wird ein benötigt. Dabei
handelt es sich um einen Datenträger, der ausschließlich für diesen Zweck im System angelegt ist.
Solange der Lernmodus aktiviert ist, können nacheinander durchgeführt
werden.
Die Anzeige "Alarm" wird im Lernmodus als optisches Quittierungssignal verwendet. Sie leuchtet
grün, solange der Lernmodus aktiviert ist, ein kurzes Blinken quittiert eine ausgeführte Aktion (s.u.).
Der Lernmodus kann nur im aktiviert werden.
Wenn eine Aktion nicht durchgeführt werden kann, erfolgt eine Negativquittierung!

1. Safety notes
Read the instructions carefully and thoroughly before installing the device and putting it into
operation. They contain important information on assembly, programming and operation.
The device is a state-of-the-art product. Only use the device:
- In accordance with regulations and
- When it is in a technically correct state
- In accordance with technical data.
The manufacturer is not responsible for damage that is caused by use not in accordance with
regulations
Installation, programming as well as maintenance and repair work may only be carried out by
authorized, skilled personnel.
Soldering and connection work should only be carried out inside the entire system when it is
deenergized.
Soldering work should only be carried out using a temperature-controlled soldering bit that is
galvanically separated from the power supply.
Observe the VDE safety instructions as well as the regulations of the local power supply company.
Do not use the operating units in a potentially explosive environment or in rooms with
metal or plastic decomposing vapours.
Clean the housing with a cloth moistened with water.
Aggresive cleaning agents or chemicals may damage or discolour the surfaces.

2. General
The IK3 operating units serve as switching elements for arming/disarming intrusion detection
systems as well as for AC function in conjunction with the IK3 evaluating unit and the correspond-
ing data carriers. Both optical and acoustical acknowledgement is possible.
The housing front can be subsequently replaced (in different colours).
3. IK data carrier
Storage media on which authorization data are saved are regarded as IK data carriers. IK data
carriers are available in various geometrical shapes.
The reading unit in the IK3 operating unit can read all IK2 data carriers used so far.
IK3 write/read data carriers where data is altered according to a special technique after every read
process can be used for additional security.
Due to the position of the transmission/reception antenna inside the different data carriers, a
different read position of the data carrier is required to the operating unit. The data carrier should
be held approximately in the of this range.

operating. Evaluation takes place within 0.9 sec. when the write/read mode is activated.

for approx. 5 seconds according to the function. For details see following illustrations.

6.1 Arm/disarm
- Hold IK data carrier in the reading range and remove.

6.4 Learn mode
Learn mode is used for the simple authorization of new data carriers.
In order to start and exit the learn mode, a is required. This so-called "learn
master key" is a data carrier that is defined exclusively in the system for this purpose.
As long as the learn mode is activated, can be performed successively.
The "Alarm" indicator is used in the learn mode as an optical acknowledgement signal. It lights up
green, as long as the learn mode is activated. It flashes briefly to acknowledge an action that has
