Connect the input signalwiring, and then turnonthe power. Lfthe inout signalwiring opens,
the instrument judgesthe input isdisconnectde.
Upscale*1: TC input, RTDinput (Downscalewhen the input isshorted)
Downscale*1: TCinput (Tobe specified whenordering), Voltage input (Currentinput)*2
*1: AlarmoutputON (However, forthe WorAcontrolactiontybe, thecontroloutput on both
heat-side and cool-side isturned off.)
*2: For0to5VDC or0to20mADC,bothcontroland alarmoutputsareindefinite
Noinfluenceissxerted uponthe instrument forpowerfailureof 20 msorless. Forpower
failureof morethan 20 ms, the insttument performsthesame operation asthat atthe timeof
poweron afterpowerrecovery(Thisappliesonlywhen alarmaction isturned off).
The alarmholdaction isactivated when not onlythe poweristurned on, but alsothe SVis
changed.
CAUTIONS
(1)Priortostarting operation, checkthat the mountingand wiringhavebeen finished, and that
theSV andvariousparmetershavebeen set.
(2)Asthisinstrument doesnot haveapowersupplyswitch, it isreadytooperateassoon asthe
poweristurned on. Priortofactoryshipment, the instrumentisset toRUN (operation start).
lfthe instrument isswitched tooperation stop (STOP), itsdisplay,output,etc.Become asfollows.
Display:ThePV displayunit shows(STOP).
Output: Controloutput OFF,Alarmoutput OFF
Supended whenthe ATfunction isactivated. (The PID constantsarenot updated.)
Thisinstrument holdsthe conditionsthat exist just beforethe poweristurned on. Forexample,
if the poweristurned off inSTOPmode, the instrumentstarsinSTOPmode when the poweris
turned onagain.
Theset datalockfunction isusedtopreventmisoperation bynot setting anyparameterwhich
isnot used frequently. Thereare8setdatalocklevels, and the parameteris locked, but can
onlybemonitored.

The ATfunction automaticallymeasures, computesand setsthe optimun PID and lba
constants.
Thisfunction isactivated after-ON, during temperatureriseand/orwhen controlisatabilized
from anyprocessstate.
RequirementsforATstart
StartATwhen allthe followingconditionsaresatisfied:
Priortostarting the ATfunction, endallthe parametersettingsotherthan PID and lba.
Confirmthe LCKfunction hasnot been engaged.
RequirementsforATsuspension
StartATfunctionissuspended if anyof anythe following conditionsisestablished:
When the SVischanged.
When the PVbiasvalue ischanged.
When the SVRUN/STOPfunction ischanged tothe STOP.
When the PVbecomesabnormal.(According tothe burnout.)
When the poweristurned on.
When apowerfailurelongerthan 20 msoccurs.
When the ATifunction doesnot end inabout9hoursaftertuning started.
If the ATsuspension condition isestablished,the ATfunction isimmediatelysuspended tobe
changed toPID control.
ThePID and lba constantsat thistime arethe same asbeforestarting AT. Inaddition, even if
theATiscompleted, itisautomaticallytransferred toPID control.
If anyproblemsarisedue tohuntingexistsinthecontrolsystem, do not usetheATfunction,In
thiscase, set eachvalue tomatchthe controlledobject.
