andwebserver. WithitsIPaddress, userscanusestandardPCIE browsertovisitIPcamera, real
timemonitortargets, manageandstorevideoorimage, PTZcontrolalsoisavailablethrough
network.
Asanewmemberincamerafamily, IPcamerasharesthesameoperationfunctionwiththe
analogcamera, suchas, autowhitebalance, autoshutterspeed,AGC, autobacklight
compensationetc. Ontheotherhand, IPcamerasupportsremoteaccess throughinternet, and

offersDDNSfunctionforstaticIP,dynamicIP,PPPoEdialing users.IPCameracanconnectto
outernetthroughLAN, alsoconnectdirectly.

Underthecondition, usersneedsetPPPoEdialing parameteronIPCamera:inputthe
usernameandpasswordISPsupplier’offerpermitIPCameradialing connects toInternet.Asto
setthePPPoEdialing parameter, youcanconnectdevice tonetworkthroughthefirstway,then
writeparametertothedevice, alsothroughfollowingthirdway, directprocess parameterwritten

Thismethodisnotusedtoooften,whenyouprocess machinewriteparameterorprogram
shift,werecommendyouadoptthefirstconnectnetworkway,toprocess themodificationof
machineparameter.

3. IEBrowsetoIP Camera
AfterIPcameraconnectstoPCLANthroughrouter,youcanoperateonIP
cameraviaPC,firstpleaseruntherelativesoftwareintheCDkit
3.1.UseFinder
Openthedisk, doublclick “IPCamSetup.exe file, onlyclick next, you willcompletethe
softwareinstallation andappearthefollowing interface:

Iftheinternetcablepowerconnectiscorrect,itappearsdevice styles, name, andIPaddress inthe
device list, (ifitdoesn’tappear, pleaseconfirmpower&internetcableworknormally).
Astheinterface,leftsideisthecurrentcomputerconfigurationinformation;rightsideisthe
selecteddevice networkconfigurationinformation. DefaultIPcameraaddress is
192.168.1.126,HTTPinterface is80.
Note:
1. DeviceinformationindicatesIPcamerainformation.
2.WhencurrentcomputeristhestableIP, (noneDHCPIP),thefirsttimeuseIPCamera,you
couldclickautoset, tosynclocalInformationtotheIPcameraIPaddress, gatewayand
DNS
3.Ifitneedsmanualmodifycameraname, HTTPinterface, IPaddress, sub-netmask, gateway,
mainDNSserver, backup DNSserver, etc.pleaseclickapplyaftermodification, enterIP
camerausernameandpassword, clickconfirmisOK.
4. InnervisitaddressisLANvisitaddress;outervisitaddress is WAN visitaddress.
5.WhenIPcameraconnectstoouternetbythefirstway, beforeouternetvisitIP
camera, portforwarding isnecessary intheseniorrouter:analogserverset. e.g.,IPaddress of
onedevice intheLAN:192.168.1.126,portis80,soit’snecessarytoopenIP:192.168.1.126port
80(TCP)inrouter,besides, inthesameLAN, differentcamerashouldcomewithdifferentport, to
makesurethereisnoportinterference inLAN;
6.Asportforwardingintherouter,pleasereferstootherchapterinrouterportforwarding
set.
3.2.Logging andActiveXInstallation
BeforeIEmonitoringthroughweb,itisnecessarytoinstallvideoplug-in,
Doubleclick Appinstall.exe”— Next”— Install”— Finish”.

WhencameraneedstoconnectwithADSLdirectly,justticktheADSLboxtorun,thenenterthe
ADSLuserandADSLpasswordthatprovidedbyISP (networksuppliers), andclicktosave;

ThefullnameofUPnPisUniversalPlug andPlay，justplug andplay,itreferstoautomatic
portforwarding. Ifusersneedtousethisfunction, routermustsupportthisfunctionandrunit,just
tickthebox;
3.4.9. DDNSSettings
Alltheaboveinformationissetup whenthedevice isreadytodeliver;usersgenerallydonot
needtochange.Incaseofanyaccidentalloss,userneedstore-obtainthedomainname,andfillit
himself,jutsdoastheabove, theuser’snameisjustthefirstfourcharacters, andthisisforremote
access. Forexample, http://abcd.ipcam.hk, theuser’snameisabcd.ThepasswordisDDNS.(The
passwordcanbeobtainedonthedevice bodyorcontactthesupplier).Whenconnected,it
displays"xxxxxisOK"onDDNSstate;itmeansthatitwassuccessfullyset.Ifyouneedtouse
yourownDynamicDNS,pleaseselecttheappropriateservice providers(onDDNSservice)
thenenterthefollowing information, thensaveit;.

Theabovesettingisapreparationforthealarmfunction,thesendershouldbeenteredthe
sender’semailaddress，recipient1、2、3、4isfilledwithrecipientE-mail address；SMTPserver
shouldbefilledwiththesenderemailSMTPserver，e.g.thesenderemail address is
[e-mail]，andentermail.163.com. GenerallySMTPportis25，dononeedtochange；when
needstocheck,justtickit,andenterSMTPuserandSMTPpassword，bothofthemareprovided
byEmail provider，andtestaccordingtoreference；whenneedstosend,pleasetickEmail

POSV.Ifneedsaquickuploadimage,thenselectit,edituploadimageinterval

3.4.12. AlarmService Settings
Asshownbelow,therearetwomodesofalarmtrigger,firstoneismotiondetection,pleas

linkagealarmboxthroughGPIO,soundthesiren；thesecondis
emailnotification, sendemail withimagescaptured；thelastisuploadpicturesalarm，asthe
waymentionedbeforeFTPuploadpicturesalarm, Uploadpicturesinterval second）keeps
consistentwiththementioneduploadpicturesintervalofFtpservice settings. Theschedule
referstoarming time，astheselectedtimeinterval：0：00 minuteperweekto0：45 minutes
andMonday1：00 hourand2：00 hour。
3.4.13. Reset/FirmWareUpgrade
Thissectorisforcamerafirmwareupgrade,itincludesdevice systemfirmwareand
device applicationfirmware. Becautioustoapplyforit!
3.4.14RestorefactorySettings
Whenusersforgetpassword,wecanrestoreex-factorysettings,whenclick,apicturewill
popup,Clickok,andwaitfor1minuteandyoucanuseitnormally. Usersettingfeaturerestores
