• The use of an e_ension cord is not recommended. If an extensioncord is absolutelynecessary,
use at leasta 16 gauge 3-wire cord whichhas a3-prong groundingtype plug and a 3-pole
receptacle that acceptsthe machineplug.
, Unplug carpet cleanerfrom outletwhen not in use.Turn off all controlsbefore unplugging.
•Unplug before connecting the powered hand tool.
•Nways disconnect cord from electricaloutlet before set, ring the carpet cleaner.
• Donot unplug bypulling on cord. To unplug, grasp the plug, not the cord.
• Neverhandle plug or appliancewith wet hands.
eDo not pull or carryby cord, use cord as a handle, close door on cord or pullcord aroundsharp
