Thismanualshowsyouhow
to
properlyinstall
the
Stator,flywheel,
CDIandHT
coil.
StatorInstallation:
•Remove
the
originalignitionfromyourengine.
•Depending
onthe
engine'ssetup,
a
mountingplate
is
included
in
this
set.
Thismountingplateserves
asan
adaptorbetweenyourengineandthe210ignition.
Fitthemountingplate
on
yourengine.
•Locate
the
cableexit
on
yourengineandposition
the
statoraccording
to
thishole.
Ifnecessary,remove
the
plug(seebackside)andlead
the
cablethrough
the
hole.
•Centerthestatoron
the
mountingplate
(if
present)
or
directiyonyourengine.
•Gentlyboltthestator
to
yourengine;
do
nottighten
the
bolts
yet.
Flywheel
Installation:
Theflywheelhas
tobe
placed
onthe
crankshaft
or
otherwise
onan
axiswhichrotates
at
thesamespeed.
•Position
the
cylinder2mmbefore
its
TopDeadCentre(TDC).
•Placetheflywheel
onthe
shaft,aligning
the
markon
the
rotorwith
the
mark
onthe
stator.
ThisPositioncorrespondswith
the
maximumignitionadvance.(seebacksideImage)
•Theimages
onthe
rightindicatewhichmarkshould
be
aligned
according
to
therotationdirection.
•Doublecheckthattheflywheeldoesnottouch
the
statorwindings.
•Fasten
the
flywheel
tothe
shaft.
•Check
the
position
of
thecylinder.
Ifnecessaryadjiistthft-^lignmentbyturningthestatorpjatg,.

•Fasten
the
statorplate.
TogainPerformance,
tryto
varythecylinderpositionbetween
2 to
4mmbeforeTDC.
Wiring
instructions:
•Light-coilyellow
HT-coil orange
blackring
•Stator3-wayplug
Connectthe60Wlightcoil
to
yourlightcircuit
or
regulator
ConnecttheHT-coil
tothe
frame.
Plug
the
orangecable
tothe
HT-coil,
Connecttheblackcablewithring
tothe
bracket
of
theHT-coiland
tothe
frame.
Plug
the
3-wayconnector
of
thestatordirectiyinto
the
CDI.
Ifyouneed
to
lead
the
cablethrough
a
narrowspace,
Seebackside
to
removetheconnectorfrom
the
cableloom.
Kill
black/whiteConnecttheblack-white
to
frame
/
ground
for
anemergencystop.
Curve
yellow
swItch
yellow/green
connectthecurvebutton
to
thesewires.(optional)
Switch
the
button
to
selectthedesiredadvancecurve.
Tominimizeelectricalinterference,
tryto
keep
all
cables
ata
safedistancefrom
theHT
cable.
Fasten
allthe
cables
tothe
frameandkeepthemclearfrom
hot
placesandmovingparts.
Pleaseattend
to
thefollowingremarks:
theCDI-unitandcablesmust
notbe
exposed
to
mechanical
stress.
theCDI-unitmust
notbe
exposed
to
excessive
heat(notbehind
the
radiator,dose
to
thecylinder
or
theexhaust).
theCDI-unitmust
notbe
exposed
to
electricalinterferences(notdose
tothe
ht-coil).
theCDI-unitmust
notbe
directiyexposed
to
fluids(water,gasoline,
oil,...).
DoNOTextendcables,thismaycauseinterferenceanddamage
to
theCDIortheengine.
ATTENTION
When
using
theM6
holes
of
theflywheel,(fan,flywheelpuller,...)
Make
Sure
the
boltsdon'tprotrude
inside
the
flywheel!
Protrudingboltscandamagethestator
colls
andvoidwarranty.
