Software Problems
My Software Won’t Run

configuration by using the HP Image Creation & Recovery CD-ROM. Refer to

Forgotten Your PC’s BIOS Password
You have forgotten the password
that has been set in the Setup
program to prevent unauthorized
users from starting your PC
Ö1Ask your system administrator, if you have one, to remind you of the
password.
2 If you cannot find out the password, clear passwords (see page 29). This will
allow the PC to start without a password.

Your keyboard has a Euro symbol. If
not, you can configure the keyboard. ÖSelect Settings Ö

ÖControl Panel in the Windows Start menu, then double-
click on Keyboard and select the Language or Input Locales tab in the
Keyboard Properties Window. Click on Add and select the country that
corresponds to your keyboard, and click OK to exit the Control Panel.
