HP ProCurve 1810G Switch Series
Overview
The new HP ProCurve1810G Switch Series enables small and midsize businesses (SMBs)
to improve productivity with affordable gigabit connectivity.
SMBs face a unique set of challenges as their business grows, and require a reliable,
simple-to-use network infrastructure that can easily adapt to meet the needs of expanding
businesses. With the new 1810G switches, SMB customers can easily upgrade to
gigabit network speeds that can be configured and maintained without a large or
specialized IT staff.
The 1810G switches include flexible deployment options to offer customers the choices
that best fit their individual needs. These switches are available with a fan-less design for
silent operation and mounting options that allow customers to easily deploy the switches
in any location. The eight-port model features a Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) option for
connectivity in locations without readily available power supplies.
Additional benefits and features of the 1810G switches include:
•New deployment flexibility – eight or 24-port models can be safely placed in any
location with the Kensington lock, available for physical theft protection.
•Improved energy efficiency – switches help reduce energy consumption with
automatic settings that place ports and LEDs in low power mode when not in use
•New network security capabilities – provide network security protection against
denial-of-service attacks
•Enhanced network availability – prevent slow performance and network downtime
with detection and protection capabilities to prevent network loops
The 1810G is supported with the ProCurve Lifetime Warranty(1) to help customers better
manage their overall networking expenses by providing value and choice for their
business applications.

The ProCurve 1810G series switches are currently available. U.S. list prices:
