switch OFF and allow to cool before touching them.
Keep flammable materials well away from engine
and exhaust.
Make sure that anyone in the immediate work area
is warned of what you are doing.
Check the condition of the equipment before use.

It is essential to familiarise yourself with all the
controls before starting.
Move the wheels from the transport position to the
grinding position by tilting the machine forward
until the wheels are off the floor and then swinging the
wheels back towards the rear of the grinder.
Gently lower the machine back onto its wheels
and check that it is level. If the grinder is not level,
or the wheels are left in the transport position,
attempting to use it will damage your floor.
Tilt the unit back and check the disc for condition,
replace if worn (see disc replacement in EQUIPMENT
CARE).
With the machine on firm level ground, check fuel
and oil levels (see EQUIPMENT CARE).
Set the engines ON/OFF switch to ON, open the
fuel tap and set the choke –fully closed if starting
from cold, half closed if the engine is warm.
Tilt the machine back to raise the disc off the floor.
With the throttle control set to half way, two or
three brisk pulls on the starter cord should now
start the engine.
Once the engine has warmed up, fully open the
choke, and reset the throttle to idling speed.
