TOUCH SCREEN - CONTROLLER
IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTES
CAUTION - Only personnel who have been trained in accordance with these operating instructions
should be permitted to operate the partition.
CAUTION – Hufcor supplies a secondary switch in addition to the Touchscreen controller. In many
locations, local building codes require the use of a secondary switch for movable wall operation. This
means that two people are required to activate the partition. A main touchscreen (Fig. 1) is installed on
one wall, and a second push button switch (Fig. 2) is installed on the opposite wall. This system requires
two people to maintain contact with the touchscreen and the secondary switch at all times during partition
movement. While this procedure may seem inconvenient, it is meant to prevent harm to people or
damage to any items that could be in the path of the partition. THE SECONDARY SWITCH IS
REQUIRED TO BE INSTALLED AND USED WITH THIS TOUCHSCREEN CONTROLLER,
OTHERWISE THE TOUCHSCREEN CONTROLLER WILL NOT FUNCTION!
CAUTION - Prior to extending the electrically operated partitions, make certain there is an operating
clearance of 4’
[1.22m] on either side of the partition. Remember that the operator’s vision may be obscured by the
partition itself as it stacks and extends and that someone should stand on either side of the partition and
watch to make sure that nobody crosses the path of the operating partition.
CAUTION - Caution people in the vicinity to maintain a safe clearance while the partition is in operation.
CAUTION - Report any malfunction to your local distributor at once and do not continue to operate
