1. Disassembly of the Isolator Valve
1.1. Initial Disassembly

Adjustable Wrench

Isolator Valve 330-0233
Production Steps
a) Remove Isolator Valve
Assembly from Regulator and
LP hose.
b) Remove Sleeve form the
Isolator Valve Assembly
c) Use the adjustable wrench to
hold the Isolator Valve Main
Housing and using a 5/32”
Allen Wrench remove the
Valve Insert.

1.2. O-ring Removal
Tools
O-ring Pick

Isolator Valve 330-0233
Production Steps
a) Using an O-ring pick carefully
remove the two O-rings on the
Valve Insert
b) Using an O-ring pick carefully
remove the three O-rings on
the interior of the Sleeve
NOTE: be very careful not to
scratch any of the surfaces behind
the O-rings. It is recommended
that you pierce the O-ring with the
pick and flip it out so as to avoid
scratching any surfaces

Production Steps
a) Place the components in a
sonic cleaner for 15 minutes
(we recommend using Blue
Gold fluid in your sonic
cleaner)
b) Rinse the parts in fresh water
c) Thoroughly dry and use
compressed air to remove any
excess water on the parts

2.1. O-ring Assembly

O-ring 2-010 (p/n 160-0010-N7) Qty: 1
O-ring 2-011 (p/n 160-0011-N7) Qty: 1

Production Steps
a) Thoroughly Lubricate all O-
rings using Cristo Lube 111
b) Place O-ring 160-0010-N7
onto the exterior of the Valve
insert (picture 1)
c) Place O-ring 160-0011-N7
onto the Valve insert over the
threads. (picture 2)
d) Place the three O-rings 160-
0016-N7 on the interior of the
Sleeve. You should be able to
squeeze the O-ring and place
them into their grooves.

2.2. Final Assembly

Cristo Lube 111
Adjustable Wrench
5/32” Allen Wrench
Parts
Isolator Valve Insert
Isolator Valve Body
Production Steps
a) Lightly lubricate the threads of
the Insert using the Cristo
Lube 111
b) Thread the insert down into
the Main Valve Body using the
Adjustable Wrench and Allen
Wrench. Torque to 10 in-lb
force.
c) Place the Sleeve onto the
Main Valve Body. Make sure
that the Sleeve is orientated
as shown in the photo, with
the “Off” position being
shown towards the female
thread of the Body, and the
“On” position being shown
towards the Male threads of
the Body.

2.3. Testing
Tools / Equipment Settings
Low pressure air source (note: this
can be a scuba regulator attached to a
tank, or can be compressed air system
set to 135-145 psi)
LP hose assembly
Water tank
Parts
Isolator Valve 330-0233
Production Steps
a) Attach the completed
Isolator Valve assembly
to the low pressure hose
b) Switch the isolator valve
to the “Off” position
c) Turn on the low pressure
air supply
d) Submerge the isolator
valve into a tank of water
e) Make sure that there are
no bubbles leaving the
isolator valve. If there
are you will need to
check all O-rings and
sealing surfaces for signs
of damage.
f) Make sure to turn off air
supply and move the
isolator valve into the on
position to clear all air in
the hose before
attempting to unthread
the Valve from the Hose.
g) NOTE: When re-attaching
Isolator Valve Assembly
to both LP hose and
Regulator it is
recommended to tighten
both threads to 24 in-lbs
of torque.
