Rechargeable Hand Warmer/ External Battery Pack

The hand warmer's temperature and operating time may vary in different temperature
conditions.
- In very low temperatures, keep the hand warmer in a glove, pocket or bag to isolate it
from the cold. This will allow the unit to heat up faster and stay warm for longer.
- In 32°F (0°C), the unit will reach -105°F (41°C) on low and -115°F (46°C) on high. The
hand warmer can maintain this temperature for longer at room temperature and less time
in cold temperatures.
- Turn off the hand warmer when not in use to save energy.
- Frequently switching the unit on and off may reduce usage time.
Use as Battery Pack
This unit can provide approx. 5200mAh of charge to other devices when fully charged. To
use as a battery pack:
1) Turn off the hand warming function.
2) Connect the EnergyFlux to your device using the USB cable that came with the device
you wish to charge.
3) The EnergyFlux’s LEDs will turn on to indicate charging is in progress (red LED) and
the EnergyFlux’s battery status (blue LEDs).

For low heat: Hold down the button until the red LED flashes.
For high heat: Enter low heat mode, then quickly press the button again. The red LED
will flash faster to indicate high heat mode is active. Press again to return to low heat
mode.
Turn off: Hold down the button until all indicator lights turn off.

Charging EnergyFlux
Make sure the unit is fully charged before first use or when it has not been used in a long
time.
• Turn off the hand warmer before charging.
• To charge, plug the micro USB end of the provided cable into the unit and the big USB end
of cable into a USB wall adapter (not included) or a device with USB port (ex.: computer). The
unit is most effectively charged when the provided charging cable is used with a USB wall
adapter/charger.
• The three blue LEDs show the remaining charge. When charging, each blue LED will flash
until all three are lit, indicating that charging is complete.
• Charging time is about 6 hours.
• To maximize the lifespan and capacity of the EnergyFlux’s lithium batteries, we recommend
charging the EnergyFlux at least every 3 months, even when not being used.
• Do not allow the EnergyFlux’s battery to remain low for extended periods.
• Store EnergyFlux in a cool, dry place to help.
NOTE: DO NOT CONTINUE CHARGING FOR MORE THAN 12 HOURS EVEN IF THE INDICA-
TOR LED CONTINUES TO FLASH EVEN AFTER THE EXPECTED CHARGING TIME.
Caution!
BEWARE of the following to avoid low temperature burns:
• DO NOT keep the hand warmer in direct contact with your skin for too long.
• STOP USE if heat causes discomfort and seek medical attention if problems persist.
• DO NOT use it while sleeping.
• Diabetes patients must be extremely careful when using the hand warmer as the extremities
may be less sensitive to heat.
• DO NOT place or use it in high-temperature conditions or near a fire.
• NEVER throw into a fire or place it in a flame.
• KEEP the hand warmer away from water and other liquids.
• DO NOT use in humid places or near water, such as the bathroom.
• NEVER connect the hand warmer to any faulty electrical socket, plug or USB port.
• DO NOT continue use after strong impact or shock.

How to prolong battery life
To prolong lithium-ion batteries, keep it charged at all times.
Avoid fully depleting the battery or leaving the battery in a fully discharged state.
If you only use the EnergyFlux in the winter season, be sure to put a reminder on your calendar
to charge the EnergyFlux every month or two to maintain the battery’s health and ensure it is
ready to go when cold temperatures return.
How to prolong heating time
Factors that affect heating time include surrounding temperature, humidity, insulation, your
hands’ temperature, etc. Heat will escape from the unit faster when in direct contact with the
cold, thus forcing it to work harder. Hence, it is best to keep the unit insulated in your pocket,
gloves or scarf.
If the unit loses heat due to cold hands, keep holding the unit and it will start to feel warm once
the amount of heat produced is more than the amount absorbed by your hands.
DO NOT use the hand warmer while charging.
USE the provided charging cable to prevent shortage of power supply or causing other
damages.
CHARGE on a stable surface.
DO NOT cover or wrap in a cloth, to prevent explosion or fire.
DO NOT store in humid, dusty or hot places such as under direct sunlight or in locations subject
to direct sunlight, such as automobiles.
KEEP out of reach of small children. Adult supervision is required when used by a child.
DO NOT dispose in the trash. Please recycle this product as a battery.
