All equipment should be thoroughly examined for
shipping damage before and during unloading.
This equipment has been carefully inspected at our
factory. Any claim for loss or damage must be made
to the carrier. The carrier will provide any necessary
inspection reports and/or claim forms.

INSTALLING END ASSEMBLIES
End assemblies are normally factory
installed. The following information
is provided for retrofit or field instal-
lation.
1Uncrate
Place glass crate on flat surface
with braces down as shown in
Figure 1, Detail A. Remove
screws from top.
Lift off top as shown in Detail B
of Figure 1.
Remove cardboard packaging
as shown in Detail C of Figure 1
and inspect Glass and Extrusion
for damage.
Carefully unpack crate with end
assemblies. Check for damage.
Locate and identify the parts
listed on Page 1.

2Preparation
Left End Only
Install Nut Retainers – 1 in
canopy positions indicated in
Figure 2.
Remove any other nut retainers
and alignment pins from End
Frame.
Right End Only.
Remove any factory-installed
alignment pins.
Verify Nut Retainers are in
canopy positions indicated in
Figure 2. Remove all others.

3Apply Gasket
Apply Gasket – 2 and
Gasket – 3 as indicated in
Figure 3.
The same gasket arrangement is
used on either end.
Assure good adhesion of gaskets
by wiping the end frame with
rubbing alcohol to remove accu-
mulated dust and oils.

4Align Bottom End Assembly – 5
with end frame. Working from
inside the case as shown in
Figure 4, insert Cap Screw – 6
through Flat Washer –- 7, then
through end frame and into end
assembly.
5Use Silicone Sealer – 4 to seal end frame to end assembly as
shown in Figure 5.
Apply Silicone Sealer – 4
over both Cap Screws – 6
as shown in Detail 5A

panel. No fasteners are used.
