InstructionsforUse:
1. Turnthemeteronandplacethephotosensorparalleltothegroundsothatthewhitecellfaces
uptowardsthelightsource.

2. Adjustthefootcandleswitchbetweenthex1,x10,andx100settingstofindtheproperreading.
Thedisplaywillreachamaximumpointanddisplay“1”ifthemeasuredlightsourceistoo
intenseandoneormorezerosifalowersettingisneeded.Atthispointadjusttheswitchtoa
higherorlowersettingsothatanaccuratereadingmaybeobtained.

3. Multiplythenumberonthedisplaybywhicheversettingisusedi.e.x1,x10,andx100.The
productistheamountoffootcandlesatthelocationofthephotosensor.

ReplacingtheBattery:
1. Makesurethepowerswitchisinthe“OFF”position.

2. Slidethecoveroffoftheunitinthedirectionindicatedbythe“OPEN”arrows.


3. Carefullyremovethebatteryfromthehousinganddetachitfromtheterminals.

4. Replaceitwithanewbatteryandreturnthecoverbacktothecompartment.

