Warning, this is not a toy!
f you are new to the hobby of flying RC model airplanes, DO NOT attempt to fly this
model by yourself! There are hundreds of BMFA (British Model Flying Association)
clubs in the UK. Ask your local hobby shop for the location of the nearest club in your
area, or check out the www.bmfa.org.uk (or your national modelling organisations) web
site. Many clubs often have qualified instructors to teach you how to fly. f you are an
accomplished pilot then you should have no problem in flying this model. However the
Supra-e can fly very fast, and is potentially a lethal object. Do fly responsibly, and
make sure your third party liability (eg BMFA) insurance is valid.

safety of the finished model. You confirm that you take full responsibility for the safe
usage, construction, and maintenance of the model, and you will not hold
HyperFlight.co.uk or its owners, staff, agents, contractors, or helpers in any way
responsible for any damages or injury that may occur as a result of operating or flying
this model. HyperFlight’s sole obligation shall be to replace those parts of the kit
proven to be defective or missing. f you are not willing to agree to this binding
condition of sale please return the model in as-received condition to Hyperflight for a

n necessary push the Bowden Cable outer tube though the hole in the rear of the fin,
so only 1mm is showing. Glue this in place with a little medium CA (Super glue).
Glue the elevator horn in place using epoxy, preferably thickened with micro-balloons,
and smoothed to make a fillet around the horn. Glue it about half way back on the
elevator, to allow for movement, and to improve the geometry.
Bend an L shape in the wire push rod, and attach it to the horn as shown. No keeper is
needed.

Make a mount for the elevator servo by sanding a curve in the bottom of a scrap piece
of 1/8” (3mm) balsa. Epoxy this in position at the rear of the wing opening.
Epoxy the elevator servo in position.
Clamp the elevator in neutral position, bend an L or Z shape in the wire push rod, to
align with the servo arm. f using an L bend use plastic keeper or a small tube to hold
the wire in position. f using a Z bend fitting can be facilitated by drilling a hole in the
fuselage side to unscrew the servo horn retaining screw.
Secure the front of the Bowden Cable (push rod outer) by gluing it to another piece of
scrap balsa epoxied to the side of the fuselage.
Drill the mounting holes for the electric motor, and fit the motor and speed control.
t is probably best to fit the receiver on top of, or behind the elevator servo. Tape the
two 2.4GHz antennas to the fuselage sides, one vertical and one horizontal, on the
fuselage underside.
Glue some Velcro (hook & loop) tape to the underside of the fuselage to allow the the
battery to be safely secured in position, do it does not move during flight. Before flying
mark the battery position to achieve the correct centre of gravity.

Dry fit the aileron servo in the circular opening in the centre of the wing, to identify the
optimum position. Check that the fuselage will not foul the servo. f all okay mark the
servo position.
Make a mount for the aileron servo from a scrap piece of 1/8” (3mm) or 3/6” (5mm)
balsa. Epoxy this in position, and then epoxy the servo to the mount. Make up short
pushrods from 18 SWG or 20 SWG piano wire with L bends at the ends. Use keepers
or small tubes to hold the pushrods in position.
