EOC-410V x 1 ea
Menu x 1 pc
Product Feature:
Transmits up to distances of 200 meters (works with EOC-100V); 150 meters (works with EOC-110V).
Supports any 10/100M Ethernet device, including IP cameras.
Fully transparent to the network.
Easy to install, no IP and MAC address configuration required
Product Overview:
Product Application Diagram
Installation Notes:

Please use 75 Ohm coaxial cable and BNC connector for the data transmission.

Please use less than 2 meters Category 5, 5E or 6 UTP patch cable to connect IP camera or Switch HUB.

Some IP cameras built in pigtail cable which with none standard Cat. 5 UTP cable, it will cause the shorter
transmission distance or no communication. Please confirm this issue to your IP camera vendor.

Please measure the coaxial wire distance, use only transceivers that are designed for that distance.

To avoid the terminator problem, before connecting the LAN cable from EOC device to switching HUB, please
connect the coax cable between both EOC devices and the LAN cable between IP camera & EOC device first.


The quality of coaxial cable will reduce or increase the transmission distance. The EOC-410V is tested for use
with RG-59U 75 Ohm copper based 20AWG coaxial cable.

That is free from damage as in cuts, breaks, or cracks to the outer covering and insulated shielding which may
compromise the signal conductivity of the cable.

For safety, DO NOT put EOC-410V signals in the same conduit as high-voltage wiring.


Installation Steps
:
1. Connect the RJ45 Ethernet jack of EOC-100V or EOC-110V to the IP camera using a standard Cat.5 or Cat.6
patch cable (Make sure the IP camera RJ45 Pin define) and the BNC socket to a 75 Ohm coax cable with 75
Ohm BNC connector.
2. Connect the EOC-410V’s (Which on the HUB site) BNC socket to a 75 Ohm coax cable with 75 Ohm BNC
connector, then plug a Cat.5 or Cat.6 patch cable to the EOC-410V’s RJ45 Ethernet jack to Switching HUB.
3. In order to get better transmission distance, the Ethernet patch cable should be a standard Cat5 or Cat6 cable and
less than 2 meters.
Troubleshooting:
The following table describes some of the symptoms, probable causes and possible solutions
Problem Possible Cause
Hub LED indicator is
OK, but no video
Check IP camera and unit device connections.
Check coax cable condition and BNC connectors is 75 Ohm.
Check cable that cable distances do not exceed EOC-410V operating distance.
Check the built in jumper cable of IP camera used non- standard Cat. 5 cables.
Check that the camera is powered.
Network lost
Check network switch termination(s) & link status.
Check network routing table(s).
Confer with site Network Administrator.
