Installation
1. Plug the USBType-C®connector of the IB-CR403-C3 into an available USB3.0Type-C®port
on your host computer.
Hint: As soon as the IB-CR403-C3 is plugged in, the blue status LED on the top lights up.
The IB-CR403-C3 is automatically recognised by the operating system and is immediately
ready to use.
2. Now insert the desired memory cards into the corresponding memory card slots of the
IB-CR403-C3.
• CFast: Before inserting the CFast memory card, make sure that the groove
(IB-CR403-C3) and the tongue (CFast memory card) are on the same side. Otherwise, the
CFast memory card cannot be inserted properly.
• SD: When inserting the SD memory card, make sure that the golden contacts are facing
upwards. The SD memory card clicks into place and is now properly installed.
• microSD: When inserting the microSD memory card, make sure that the golden contacts are
facing upwards. The SD memory card clicks into place and is now properly installed.
Usage
• The card reader can be connected to or disconnected from the computer during operation.
ATTENTION! Please await the end of write and read operations before disconnecting the
card reader from the computer to avoid data loss.
• A new memory card must first be initialized, partitioned and formatted by the operating system
before it can be displayed by the system.
• If the memory card is not immediately recognised by the system please check:
- whether the driver software is installed (USB)
- whether the memory card is initialized, partitioned and formatted

Installation
1. Stecken Sie den USB Type-C®Stecker des IB-CR403-C3 in einen freien USB 3.0 Type-C®
Anschluss Ihres Hostcomputers.
Hinweis: Sobald der IB-CR403-C3 eingesteckt ist, leuchtet die blaue Status LED auf der
Oberseite auf.
Der IB-CR403-C3 wird vom Betriebssystem automatisch erkannt und ist sofort betriebsbereit.
2. Stecken Sie nun die gewünschten Speicherkarten in die entsprechenden Speicherkartensteck-
plätze des IB-CR403-C3.
• CFast: Achten Sie vor dem Einstecken der CFast Speicherkarte darauf, dass sich Nut (IB-
CR403-C3) und Feder (CFast Speicherkarte) auf der gleichen Seite befinden. Andernfalls kann
die CFast Speicherkarte nicht ordnungsgemäß eingesteckt werden.
• SD: Achten Sie beim Einstecken der SD Speicherkarte darauf, dass die goldenen Kontakte
nach oben zeigen. Die SD Speicherkarte rastet mit einem Klick ein und ist nun ordnungsgemäß
installiert.
• microSD: Achten sie beim Einstecken der microSD Speicherkarte darauf, dass die goldenen
Kontakte nach oben zeigen. Die SD Speicherkarte rastet mit einem Klick ein und ist nun
ordnungsgemäß installiert.
Anwendung
• Der Kartenleser kann im laufenden Betrieb am Computer angeschlossen oder von diesem
getrennt werden.
ACHTUNG! Bitte warten Sie das Ende von Schreib- und Lesevorgängen ab, bevor Sie den
Kartenleser vom Computer trennen, um Datenverlust zu vermeiden.
• Eine neue Speicherkarte muss vom Betriebssystem erst initialisiert, partitioniert und formatiert
werden, um vom System angezeigt zu werden.
• Wenn die Speicherkarte nicht sofort vom System erkannt wird, bitte prüfen:
- ob die Treibersoftware installiert ist (USB)
- ob die Speicherkarte initialisiert, partitioniert und formatiert ist
