MODEL 596SGFI
DUAL CURRENT SENSING GROUND FAULT INDICATOR MODULE
The Model 596SGFI is a dual channel current sensing ground fault detector module. In
conjunction with any IED Monitor/Test System, it can be used to monitor the current in
any speaker circuit, as well as to detect a fault to ground in either side of an amplifier
such as the IED Models 6270L/H or 6208L/H.
Figure 1 shows wiring of the 596SGFI using the 8000 Monitor/Test System. The 596SGFI
is connected to the an 8081MT Monitor/Test card through the 8048TBM Rear Terminal
Module.
Figure 2 shows the 596SGFI connected to the IED Model 596 Monitor/Test System. The
596SGFI is wired to the Model 596 Monitor/Test System rear panel screw terminal con-
nectors.
When multiple 596SGFI modules are powered from a single power supply, they can be
plugged together and mounted in a Snap Track as illustrated in figure 3.
