• Beachten Sie die Betriebsanleitung der
ElectraSyn 2.0.
• Gefahr durch hohen Strom! Vorsicht bei der
Befestigung der Klammern an den Elektroden.
Vermeiden Sie Kurzschlüsse zwischen den
einzelnen Klemmen sowie einen schlechten
elektrischen Kontakt zwischen Klemme und
Elektrode.

Hinweis
Das IKA Carousel ist um 120 Grad drehbar. Das
IKA Carousel darf nicht über diese Grenze
hinausgedreht werden, da dies den Aufsatz
beschädigen würde.
Note
The IKA Carousel has a rotation capability of 120
degrees. Do not force the IKA Carousel to rotate
past this limit as doing so will damage the
attachment.

Das IKA Carousel wurde für die gleichzeitige
Elektrosynthese in bis zu 6 ungeteilten Zellen
entwickelt.
Das Gerät darf nur in Verbindung mit dem
ElectraSyn 2.0 betrieben werden.
Das IKA Carousel ist nicht kompatibel mit
ElectraSyn 2.0 Referenzelektroden und wurde nicht
für die zyklische Voltametrie-Analyse entwickelt.
Bei Verwendung des IKA Carousel entfällt der
Modus "Assist" und die Rührfunktion ist auf
1200 1/min begrenzt.
The IKA Carousel was developed for simultaneous
electrosynthesis in up to 6 undivided cells.
The device may only be operated in combination
with the ElectraSyn 2.0.
The IKA Carousel is not compatible with ElectraSyn
2.0 reference electrodes, and has not been
designed to perform cyclic voltametry analysis.
When using Carousel the "Assist" mode is omitted,
and the maximum stirring speed will be reduced to
1200 rpm.

Voraussetzung:
ElectraSyn ist vom Netz getrennt.
Vorgehensweise:
• Setzen Sie das IKA Carousel auf die
ElectraSyn 2.0. Stellen Sie sicher, dass die
Markierungen auf der Unterseite des Geräts
fluchten. Beachten Sie dabei, dass der
Führungsstift der ElectraSyn 2.0 in die Nut an
der Unterseite des IKA Carousel eingreift.
• Drehen Sie das IKA Carousel im
Uhrzeigersinn, bis es mit einem Klick einrastet.
Benutzen Sie den Knopf oben am Gerät, um
das IKA Carousel zu drehen.
• Bringen Sie die gewünschte Anzahl ungeteilter
Zelle am IKA Carousel an, in dem Sie sie in
einem Winkel von ca. 30° in die Halterung
einführen.
• Verbinden Sie die ElectraSyn mit dem
Netzversorgung.
• Nehmen Sie die Sie ElectraSyn 2.0 wie
gewohnt in Betrieb. Auf dem Hauptbildschirm
werden die Werte der verwendeten
Positionen.
• Die Zellen können durch Anheben nach oben
entnommen werden.
Hinweis
Werden während eines "Constant Current"-
Experiments auf dem Bildschirm 3 rote Striche
angezeigt (anstelle eines Ergebnisses) hat die
Zelle einen hohen Widerstand.
Um dies zu beheben, entnehmen Sie die
entsprechende Zelle und verdünnen Sie die
Lösung. Dadurch wird die Leitfähigkeit erhöht.
Setzen Sie die Zelle danach wieder ins IKA
Carousel.
Prerequisite:
ElectraSyn is disconnected from the mains.
Procedure:
• Place the IKA Carousel on the ElectraSyn 2.0,
To do so first check that the notches on the
bottom of the device are aligned, then orient
yourselves with the alignment notches on the
side of the device. Make sure that the guide
pin of the ElectraSyn 2.0 engages in the
groove on the underside of the carousel.
• Turn the IKA Carousel clockwise until it clicks
into place. Use the knob at the top of the
device to rotate the IKA Carousel.
• Attach the desired number of undivided cells
to the IKA Carousel by inserting them into the
holder at an angle of approx. 30° or just
clicking them in place.
• Connect the ElectraSyn to the mains supply.
• Put ElectraSyn 2.0 into operation as usual.
The values of the positions used are displayed
on the main screen.
• The vials can be removed by lifting them
upwards.
Note
During a constant current experiment if the vial has
a high resistance three red dashes will displayed
at the corresponding location on the screen,
instead of a result.
To fix this, remove the vial and adjust the solution
by increasing conductivity, then place the vial
back.
