These instruc ons must be read carefully in order to install and use the set properly and to
keep it in perfect working condi on and to reduce the risks of misuse.
Do not use this set on machines in poten ally explosive atmospheres, except the models
cer fi ed ATEX/RATEX to work in that condi ons.
a) Strictly adhere to the instruc ons for installa on contained in this manual.
b) Make sure that professional and competent personnel carry out the installa on.
c) Ensure that all site and prevailing safety regula ons are fully respected.
d) Make sure that this manual is permanently available to the operator and maintenance personnel.
e) Keep the transmi er out of reach of unauthorised personnel.
f) Remove the transmission key when the set is not in use.
g) On star ng each working day, check to make sure that the STOP bu on and other safety measures
are working.
h) When in doubt, press the STOP bu on.
i) Whenever several sets have been installed, make sure the transmi er you are going to use is the
right one. Iden fy the machine controlled on the label for this purpose on the transmi er or by
using the display (in case it has one).
j) Service the equipment periodically.
k) When carrying out repairs, only use spare parts supplied by IKUSI dealers.
WARNING
• The devices muts be used with the manufacturers’ ba ery and ba ery charger.
• The equipment must be operated by quialifi ed personnel.
• A er use, never leave the equipment ON (one or several transmi ers). Always set the contact key and the
STOP bu on to switch off posi on of the equipment to avoid accidentally to ac vate manoeuvres –specia-
lly in crane maintenance purposes-.
• Do not use the set when visibility is limited.
• Avoid knocking or dropping the set.
• Do not use the set if failure is detected.

1- Place a charged ba ery in the transmi er. The char-
ge must be done following the instruc ons of the Bat-
tery Chargers’ Manual.
In order to turn the transmi er ON (OPERATION mode), please follow the next steps:

3- Push and pull out the STOP bu on. LED will fl ash
orange-green pulse. If the transmi er has LCD, it dis-
plays the iden fi ca on of the machine, as well as the
ba ery level, if it has been pre-programmed.
4- Press the start bu on. The green LED should now
light indica ng that the transmi er is transmi ng.
Once the Tx is connected, press on any of the
transmi er’s manoeuvre bu ons and its correspon-
ding relay will be ac vated.
Check to make sure all the other manoeuvres work in a
coherent way with the expected movements.

sary to take off the next mes you want to start up the
equipment, only for denying the access to the trans-
mi er.

RECOMMENDATIONS
This equipment is designed for use in an industrial environment. However, we recommend you follow the
instruc ons below to extend the life span of your remote control set:
• Use the belt provided with the transmi er to prevent the transmi er from falling.
• Do not clean the transmi er with solvents or pressurised water. Use a damp cloth or so brush.
• Use and recharge the ba ery regularly.
• Check the pushbu ons. In case they show sings of deteriora on, please contact the Authorized Technical
Service.
• Check if the ba ery contacts are correct. Otherwise, replace them.

The transmi er has status monitoring LED’s, which help to iden fy irregulari es. The most common signals are

RECOMMENDATIONS
• Do not recharge the ba ery un l it is completely fl at. The transmi er indicates this moment.
• Always charge the ba eries at temperatures between 0º and 45ºC (the ba eries will not become fully charged at
temperatures exceeding 45ºC). Remember that the charger must not be le in direct sunlight.
• Charge the ba eries at least once every six months.
• Avoid short-circuits between the ba ery contacts. Do not carry charged ba eries in toolboxes or next to other
metal objects (keys, coins, etc.).
• Always keep contacts clean.
• Never leave ba eries in direct sunlight.
