GETTING STARTED
Power Source
•This HD Radio System operates from AC120V/60Hz line power supply.
•The Remote Control operates on 1 Lithium battery, CR2025 (Included).
Insert the AC Cord Inlet into the AC cord socket on back of the Radio and the other end into a
standard 120V AC outlet as shown in the diagram on this page. The Radio will automatically go
into standby mode.
Note: The system has an AC plug and will only fit into matching AC outlets. This is a safety feature to reduce the possibility of electric shock. If the plug will
not fit in your AC outlets, you should have the outlet changed by a qualified, licensed electrician. Do not use an adapter to make the plug fit into your outlet.
This defeats the safety feature and could expose you to electric shock. In the event of a malfunction due to electrostatic discharge (ESD), reset the unit by
pressing the RESET pinhole located on the back of the main unit with a ballpoint pen or similar object.
Protect your Furniture
This model is equipped with non-skid rubber 'feet' to prevent the product from moving when you operate the controls. These 'feet' are made from non-
migrating rubber material specially formulated to avoid leaving any marks or stains on your furniture. However certain types of oil based furniture polishes,
wood preservatives, or cleaning sprays may cause the rubber 'feet' to soften, and leave marks or a rubber residue on the furniture. To prevent any damage
to your furniture we strongly recommend that you purchase small self-adhesive felt pads, available at hardware stores and home improvement centers
everywhere, and apply these pads to the bottom of the rubber 'feet' before you place the product on fine wooden furniture.
Installing the Remote Control Battery
The remote control battery has been previously installed and ready for operation for the first time use. When the remote control
stops functioning, replace the battery with a new one. To do so, locate the battery compartment and follow the steps below:
1. Remove the battery cover.
2. Insert a “CR2025” 3V lithium battery making certain to follow the correct polarity (+/-).
3. Replace the cover.

product. Please check the bottom of dock adapters to see the compatibility with your iPod.
1. How to insert a dock adapter
a. First choose the dock adapter that corresponds with the type of iPod you would like to dock. Using the correct dock adapter ensures the
proper fit for your iPod.
b. Gently push the dock adapter down into the universal dock.
c. Carefully place your iPod into the universal dock. Your iPod must not be in a case or “Skin”.

OPERATIONAL INSTRUCTIONS
Delay in the HD Radio™ System
Digital systems inherently produce a delay in audio. To overcome such delay, HD Radio™ broadcasting uses a station’s current analog signal to ensure fast
tuning of an AM or FM station. After an estimated 5 seconds, the audio will change from analog to digital HD Radio™ broadcasting.
If the change is smooth, the radio station will implement the HD Radio™ broadcast correctly. But if the station has no smooth change, you will experience a
jump in content of an estimated 5 seconds. The HD Radio™ Receiver is not a problem. It is an HD Radio™ broadcaster’s implementation problem which
could be corrected by the station through time.
•Today’s analog is only preset on the main channel. If you tune directly to a station’s multicast channel (Not the first multicast), there will have a
delay of about 5 seconds before audio or content is heard. This operation is normal.
Displaying Text Information
If digital HD Radio™ broadcasting or analog broadcasting having RBDS is tuned on, you can change the currently serving text data.
RBDS
This radio supports RBDS, Program Identification, Radio Text, Program Service and Program Type.
