Important notes
ATTENTION
LEAKING GAS
THE INSTALLER MUST GIVE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION TO THE USER
• Verify the integrity of the appliance and the presence of all the product documen-
tation.
• Verify that the appliance has all the expected accessories.
• Verify the correct utilization of the appliance (use of the oven, thermostat and igni-
tion of the burners).
• Suggest to note the serial number and warranty information
• Request that a periodic maintenance service has to be carried out at least every
two years to maintain a fully functioning appliance.
In the case of leaking gas, close the main gas tap and disconnect the product
from the mains. Call the ILVE service team immediately.

Room ventilation
The appliance weighs more than 60 kg, therefore it must be moved using appropriate
lifting equipment
Do not drag the cooker as this will bend the supporting feet. Lift the appliance into posi-
tion with correct lifting equipment.
- This appliance is in compliance with the applicable CE standards.
- Installation must only be carried out by qualied persons in compliance with the
regulations and standards in force
This is a type “A” appliance which does not need to be joined to an exhaust system for
combustion waste however ILVE strongly recommend that it is installed under a range
hood or other smoke extraction system in compliance with the gas safe regulations. The
knowledge and consultation of the standards are a key factor for a qualied technician.
Indicatively the amount of air necessary for burner combustion is 2 m3/h for each KW of
nominal power installed (see plate).
Should the appliance be subjected to intensive and prolonged use, supplementary ven-
tilation may be necessary; in such cases open a window or increase the extractor fan’s
power.

- The appliance can be installed singularly: class 1.
- The appliance can be installed between two pieces of furniture: class 2/1.
- The cooker is protected against excessive overheating, so it may be installed next to
furniture with a height no higher than that of the worktop. The wall in contact with the
back of the cooker must be made of re-resistant material. To install the cooker correct-
ly, take the following precautions.
A. Any furniture in the vicinity of the cooker with a height higher than that of the worktop
must be at least 50mm from the edge of the cook top;
B. The extractor hood must be installed in the way indicated in its instructions booklet,
and always at a minimum distance of 650 mm from the top of the hob;
C. If the cooker is installed under a wall unit, the minimum distance between this unit
and the worktop must be 700 mm.

ATTENTION
- Unpack the cooker and mount the feet by adjusting the height.
- Measure the height from the oor to the top edge of the back-cross bar (picture 5) and
add 15mm.
- Fix the supporting bracket in the centre of the cooker aperture on the supporting wall.
- Check that the cooker is tight against the back wall to avoid tipping.
The anti-turnover system is assured only if the cooker is installed with the back
tight against the back wall.

Rules for installation
ATTENTION
The instructions below are intended for the skilled technician who will install the cooker,
regulate it and perform technical maintenance and who will ensure that these operations
are carried out in the most correct way possible, in compliance with the regulations in
force.
Important: the cooker must be disconnected from the electric supply before per-
forming all regulating or maintenance operations.
• Installation must be carried out by a competent technician, fully complying with the legi-
slation in force regarding electrical installations. Otherwise, the manufacturer disclaims
any responsibility. You will nd your appliance’s wiring diagram in this booklet.
• The appliances are prepared for connection to the voltage shown on the data plate.
• Before connecting the appliance to the mains check that:
-the main cooker switch is able to support the appliance’s load(see dataplate);
-the power supply should be earthed as per the current regulations.
The appliance is supplied with a cable - This cable must be used for installation. The
connection must be made taking into account that the green-yellow cable is the earth
conductor and it must never be interrupted
It is necessary that:
- the installation can support the equipments load. (see data plate)
- the power supply system must have an efcient earth.
- the cooker switch must have a minimum 3 mm, double pole contact opening and must
be easily reachable once the appliance has been installed.
- means for disconnection must be incorporated in the xed wiring in accordance with
current regulations.
The yellow-green earth wire must never
be interrupted even by the switch.
The power cable should be positioned
so that it does not come into contact with
surfaces that have a temperature of 50 °C
higher than the environment. In case repla-
cement of the power cable is necessary,
contact the support service.

Due to conned space available at the rearof the cooker, there are two options for gas
installation.
As Viewed from Front
• Height of PIC – 750mm A.F.F.L (Above Fixed Floor Level)
• PIC needs to point down if bayonet tting, 110mm from left of the cooker
• Straight bayonet tting or micropoint tting can be used as long at the micropoint is
tted to current regulations
• 900mm gas hose is recommended. 1250mm can be used to engineer’s discretion
• PIC can be tted between 180mm – 250mm A.F.F.L
• Gas hose must not be under any strain or tension
• The gas hose must not touch the oor
This will allow the cookers to be tted with the gas hose running along the base of the
cooker. This will also mean that the PIC can be connected and disconnected by remo-
ving the storage drawer and accessing from the front of cooker.

LPG conversion
ATTENTION
GAS CONNECTIONS
By the qualied installer
a) CLASS (Subclass 2/1 cooker recessed between furniture)
The apparatus must be connected to the gas mains by means of PIC exible metal
hose (maximum length 2 metres) suitable for gas appliances.
The connection pipes and their maximum lengths must conform to the applicable stan-
dards. The cooker hose must be suitable for rst, second and third family gas and ma-
nufactured to BS669 Part 1 or EN14800 in the UK. The gas hose must replaced before
expiry (if indicated on the tube) or after 10 years of use.
Gas ttings must be installed by a Gas Safe registered installer, tted in accordance with
BS6172, in a position free from excessive heat and potential abrasion from surround
items, attached to a socket that is rmly xed to a gas installation pipe and positioned so
that the hose hangs freely downwards. Never use excessive force to connect or discon-
nect. The hose must be a auto-shut-off gas hose connected to a PIC.
b) CLASS (for LPG installation)
The cooker must be installed according to LPG gas safe regulations. The LPG conver-
sion must be carried out by a competent technician as per the instructions manual.
The appliance is delivered to operate as indicated on the label on the appliance: CAT.
II2H3 + = GAS G20 mbar; GAS G30/31 = 30/37 mbar.

Any maintenance operation, etc. It must be carried out by an authorized technician after
disconnecting the appliance from the mains and closing the gas supply.

• unscrew injectors “U” using a 7mm spanner (g. 1) and replace them with those for
the new gas according to table number 2 on page 20.
DCC – Dual burners
• unscrew the 2 screws “P” and remove cover “C” g.2.
• unscrew injectors “U” using a 7 mm spanner (g.3, g.4) and replace them with
those for the new gas according to table number 1 below 13.

Burners on the hob
Burners in the gas oven
When installing the cooker, you must check that the minimum gas ow of the burners on
the hob and in the oven is correctly regulated.
If the type of gas is changed, the low ame jet will require adjustment. The adjustment
procedure is as follows:
1. Light one burner at a time and turn the ame
up to maximum.
2. Remove the knob of the corresponding gas
tap and insert a screwdriver in the end part of
the tap or in the screw (g. A1,A2).
3. Turn the tap to minimum position.
4. Unscrew, turning to the left, to increase the
ame, or screw to the right to decrease it.
5. If a liquid gas is used (Butane - Propane), the
regulating screw must be fully screwed in.
1. Remove the bottom shelf of the oven.
2. Light the burner and leave it at maximum for
about 10minutes with the oven door closed.
3. Turn the knob to minimum and, still with the-
door closed, check whether the ames have
lowered but are still burning steadily (about 3-4
mm).
4. Remove the knob of the thermostat. Insert
a screwdriver on the proper screw (g. B):
turn anti-clockwise to increase the minimum,
clockwise to decrease it. The ame must be
steady and homogeneous.
5. If the ames are not well adjusted at minimum
level,repeat the procedure described above.
6. If a liquid gas is used (Butane - Propane), the
regulating screw must be fully screwed in.

Replacing the injectors 1. Remove the bottom of the oven by unscrewing the 4 screws.
2. Remove the burner by removing the screw that secures it.
3. Using a 7 mm hose wrench, unscrew the injector and replace it with the suitable gas
adapter.supplied with the appliance. See the table below.
4. Ret the burner and then the bottom of the oven.
