The power supply cable should not reach a 50°C temperature above the ambient temperature.
Due to conned space available at the rear of the cooker, the cooker cannot currently be
installed to GB Gas Safe regulations without leaving a gap in between the cooker and
the rear wall. The cooker cannot be tted ush.
Gas safe regulations stipulate:
• Height of bayonet on the wall needs to be 750mm from the oor.
• The hose cannot touch the oor
• Cannot have any strain or tension on the hose
• PIC (Plug In Connector) needs to point down.
Gas safe regulations can be overridden by manufacturer instructions, as long as safe to do so.
After speaking to Gas Safe on 22.07.19 we have learned that as long as the manufactu-
rer states that it is possible to do so, the bayonet can be tted closer to the oor.
For a low level, ush installation, the bayonet can be tted between 180mm – 250mm
from the oor, as long as the pipe is under no strain or tension. This will allow the co-
okers to be tted with the gas hose running along the base of the cooker. This will also
mean that the PIC can be connected and disconnected by removing the storage drawer
and accessing from the front of cooker. This will make installation easier in general.
