User Manual and Care Instructions

Before we go any further, we want to say thank you for
choosing iM3 Shona!
iM3 Shona has been developed by a
dedicated team of engineers,
veterinarians, and designers.
iM3 Shona Features:
•Made of electro-polished stainless
steel.
•Middle motor column is anodised
aluminium.
•Hand remote control easily adjusts
hight from 530 to 1100 mm.
•Strong actuator lifts up to 170 kg.
•Removable dental tray with round grid provides good access to patient and
keeps patient’s head dry during procedures.
•Innovative “wave breakers” within the tray make it easier to transport and empty
liquids.
•X-frame base provides accessibility from all sides, even when seated.
•Four 100 mm quality German-made castors provide comfortable and smooth
movement during patient transport. The Total Lock brake system locks both the
rolling of the wheels and the rotation of the wheel fork.
Before first use
•Inspect packaging for any damage, take photos, and note all damages on the
CMR before signing it. Later claims for transport damages are not accepted by
transport companies.
•Please ensure adequately trained people unpack, install and power the table.
•Follow basic manual handling and safety guidelines when lifting the SHONA out
of packaging. Do not hurt your back! Be safe!
•Make certain all moving parts are properly fixed, and all obstacles and packaging
are removed prior to operating the table.

Mounting the round dental tray
iM3 Shona is delivered fully
tested and assembled. The
round dental tray (sink)
attaches easily to the bracket at
the end of the table.

Dental Tray
Remove the protective packing material. The dental
end connection bracket is pre-installed and can be
removed if needed.
Attach the aluminium brackets of the dental tray (1)
to the rail on the end of the table (2) ensuring the
tray is centered.

Table Extension
Remove the rail from the end of the table by
opening the black handscrews (anti-clockwise)
which are located under the rail (1) and pull rail out
(2).
Slide the hollow square tubes of the extension table
into the larger hollow square tubes under the
tabletop. Push in completely (3) and tighten
securely using the black knobs under the tabletop
(1).

Hand Remote Control
The height of iM3 Shona is adjusted
by a wired hand control. The upper
button raises the table and lower
button lowers the table.
Brakes and castors
The castors are designed for safe and comfortable movement. The casters are fitted with
brakes that lock the wheels and the forks, preventing rotation. NOTE: Always lock all
four casters when the table is in use.
Service and Support
•The product is made of durable hard-wearing materials.
•The service routine must be performed by qualified personnel to ensure the
safety and performance of the product.

Maintaince, Do’s and Dont’s
For the long-term use of iM3 Shona and its accessories, please follow the maintaince
instructions below. If you have questions or concerns, please contact iM3 or an official
distributor.

•Never use benzenes, chlorides or other hazardous liquids or substances for
cleaning the table or its accessories.
•Always use standard cleaning products meant for medical equipment and/or
stainless steel surfaces.
•For dusting, gently use a vacuum cleaner or soft cloth taking care to not damage
or scratch the surfaces.
•Always keep the table clear of obstacles when moving to avoid collision.
•Do not place the remote control into water or dental tray.
•Because damage is commonly inflicted by cleaning personnel, please provide
them with proper instructions.
•The inner workings of iM3 Shona do not need daily maintaince.
•Never use sharp instruments or course scrubbers to clean the surfaces, instead
let the cleaning agent do the job.
•Do not contaminate the stainless steel surfaces with iron dust or sparks, as this
will cause surface corrosion.
•Do not clean the produce with the same cloth that was used to clean iron dust
or other iron rich surfaces as it will cause surface corrosion.
•Except the dental tray, do not steam clean the table or wash parts in the washing
machine.
Warranty
•Warranty period is 24 months and is valued only in the official sales regions of

•All warranty related repair works must be performed according to iM3 approved
instructions and by iM3 authorized dealer.
•Warranty provisons exclude accessories and normal wear and tear.
•Warranty provisons do not apply in cases of misuse or physical damages of the
product.
