1. INTRODUCTION
This instructions explain the ECC
electronic board installation (code:
2950SCHEDESS –marked by EN0304)
on IMESA dryers model ES.
This document contains all the main
program function as well as the password
to access to the configuration menu and
indication to program the self service
prices.
2. INSTALLER’S INFORMATION AND
SAFETY RULES
This manual is written in compliance with
the European Community laws in force,
and it refer about:
Information about machine
technical features;
Instruction for the correct
machine installation and working;
Instruction for ordinary
maintenance;
For the electrical diagram, please
refer to the copy stored inside the
machine.
Information are addressed to installer and
service man, who must be sure to well
understand the instruction here given
before to work or service the machine.
This manual must always be available for
consultancy. In case of lost or damage,
ask for a copy to the manufacturer.
Manufacturer is not responsible for
consequences due to a not correct board
configuration or due to a not complete or
missing reading of this manual.
Manufacturer reserves itself the right to
modify the specification here written.
Picture may differ from reality in some
details. Diagram and Technical data can
be modified without any previous notice.
3. SAFETY RULES
Do not respect the following rules may
cause damages to people, object or
animals.
Installation and maintenance of the here
described board must be done only by
authorised personnel, who knows the
product and respecting the European
rules in matter of installation and
reparation of industrial machines.
The here described dryers are addressed
only to a professional use: any other use
is forbidden if not previously authorised in
written by the manufacturer.
Supplementary external connection to the
machine, if not duly preformed, release
the manufacturer from any responsibility.
The above advices do not cover all
possible risks. User must proceed
with maximum care respecting the
rules.
4. MANUFACTURE LIABILITY
Instruction of this document do no
replace, but only integrated, the duties
coming from the safety and accident
prevention rules in force.
With reference to what is written in this
document, the manufacturer is not
responsible for:
use of the machine not in
compliance with the safety and
accident prevention rules in
force;

Not correct board installation;
Missing of a ordinary and
programmed maintenance;
Missing or not respect of the
instruction written in the manual;
Tension or supply defects;
Not authorized modification to the
machine.
Use of the machine by not
authorized people;
5. PROGRAM
Put the new board inside its room after
that the behind connectors was taken off.
Connect the new connectors in the
previous position, keypad and display
included.
The board can be supplied also “on the
table” using a 220V~ (phase/neutral) and
supplying the two poles connector called
JP12. Obviously, connect in the same
position the keypad and the display.
Supply the board and press the keys “+”
and “-“ at the same time.
“PASSWORD” should be displayed. If
different messages should be displayed,
then check if the key flat is correctly
connected.
Press “ENTER” and digit the password
“777” to enter in the user menu where,
using the keys “+” and “-“ it is possible to
enter in the following parameters:
LINGUA / LANGUAGE
PROGRAMMI/PROGRAMS
INFORMAZIONI/INFORMATION
PASSWORD
6. LANGUAGE CHANGE
The available languages are:
- ITALIANO / ITALIAN
- HRVATSKI / CROATO
- FRANCAIS / FRENCH
- ENGLISH
- NORSK / NORWEGIAN
- PORTOGUES / PORTUGUESE
- ESPANOL / SPANISH
- DEUTSCH / GERMAN
To change the languange, display the
right one and press “ENTER”.
To exit the menu press “STOP” until the
display shows “SELECT PROGRAM” (in
the chosen language)
7. PROGRAM MODIFICATION
The programs can be modified or new
program can be created.
The maximum number of programs kept
in memory are 10.
Press the password “777” to enter in the
second level menu “PROGRAMS”, the
following parameter can be visualized
and modified:
- NAME
- CYCLE LENGTH
- ROTATION TIME
- REVERSING PAUSE
- CYCLE TEMPERATURE
- COOLING LENGTH
- TEMP. COOLING END CYCLE
- BUZZER
Refer to dryer user manual for program
creation / modification.
Anyway, entering in each paramether
pressing “ENTER” it can be modified.
To exit from this menu, press “STOP”
until the display shows “SELECTR
PROGRAM”.
8. BOARD RESET
To set the factory orginal value press at
the same time the keys “+” and “-“. The
display is showing “PASSWORD”.
Press “ENTER” and digit “712”
Wait for some seconds until the message
“OK” will be displayed. Switch off the
board and than switch it on again.
9. “COIN OP” PROGRAM
The control board can be configured to
work in coin op version dryer.
Digit the password “6776” and later use

the keys “+” and “-“ to find the parameter
“COIN BOX”.
Enter in the menu pressing “ENTER” and
than press “+” to display the message
“YES”, confirm with “ENTER” and then
press “STOP” to exit this menu.
Digit the password “767” to enter in the
menu “INSTALLAZIONE” and modify the
following parameters:
CURRENCY(€, $, token…)
CURRENCY DECIMAL (1,0; 1,00; 1,000;
1,0000 ...)
MINIMUM PRICE (the minimum cost of
the program).
TOKEN1 (set1 if token are used, 0.10 if
coin are used.
Exit the menu pressing “STOP” so many
time as necessary.
Digit the password “777”, select
“PROGRAMS” and press “ENTER”.
In the “COIN OP” version the first trhee
programs are named as follow:
HIGH (program 0)
MEDIUM (program 1)
LOW (program 2)
Using the keys “+” and “-“ select the
program that needs to be modified and
look for the parameter “PROGRAM
COST” AND “BASE TIME”.
PROGRAM COST: set the price of each
time unit that the customer can buy.
BASE TIME: set the length of each time
unit.
EXAMPLE:
If we want to create a program which cost
€ 3.00 and is 15’ long, the parameters
need to be set as follow:
Each time the customer will insert € 1.00,
he will benefit of 5 minutes time.
10. PROGRAM: RESIDUAL HUMIDITY
CONTROL (ONLY ICD VERSION).
The control board can be configured to
work also on residual humidy control
dryers (mod. ICD). If this version is
activated on standard dryer (mod. ES) ,
the board will not work correctly.
To activate this funcion digit the password
“6776” and look for the parameter
“HUMIDITY”, than change the value from
NO to YES using the keys “+” and “-“ .
Exit this menu pressing the key STOP
until the display is showing “SELECT
PROGRAM”
11. PROGRAM: “INSTALLATION”
MENU.
Using the password “767” it is possible to
enter in the program second level menu.
Parameter available in this menu are:
TEMPERATURE MEASURE
UNIT: using the keys “+” and “-“
it is possible to choose the
temperature measure unit:
Celsius (°C) or Fahrenheit (°F).

NO WRINKLE: To select this
funtion use the keys “+” and “-“.
CYCLE MAX TIME Maximum
length of the cycle (minutes)
ROTATION MAX TIME: max time
of rotation in one sense
(seconds)
PAUSE MAX TIME: max pause
time for each cycle (seconds).
MAX TEMPERATURE: Max
temperature for each cycle (in °C
o °F).
MAX COOLING TIME: Max
cooling time at the end of the
drying cycle (minutes).
MAX TEMPERATURE AT END
COOLING CYCLE: Temperature
to be reached at the end of the
cooling cycle (minutes).
HYSTERESIS: temperature gap
which confirm the activation and
not activation of the heating
system when the wished
temperature is reached
(expressed in °C or °F).
ONLY FOR MACHINE WITH RESIDUAL
HUMIDITY CONTROL MOD. “ICD”:
MAX RESIDUAL HUMIDITY AT
THE END OF THE CYCLE:
settino of the max limit of residual
humidity at the end of the cycle

ONLY FOR COIN OP DRYERS (see
COIN-OP program paragraph):
CURRENCY: allows to set the
currency shown at display.
MINIMUM PRICE: set the
minimum number of time unit that
a customer needs to by to run the
program.
TOKEN1: set the value of each
token which pass through the
coin mechanism.
TOKEN2: like for TOKEN1, but
only when the dryer is equipped
with two coin boxes or two
payment systems.
