Congratulations on your purchase of a quality Imex self levelling
(pen ulum) line laser.
These lasers have been esigne for the professional an incorporate the
latest laser technology.
This highly versatile tool can be set up on the floor, elevating tripo or on a
wall bracket.
The following operating manual has been esigne to assist in getting the
optimum performance from your instrument. Please rea carefully before
using the instrument, an observe all safety con itions.

Turn on: Turn on using the on/off switch. This releases the pen ulum from its
lock position, activates 1 horizontal beam an allows all beams to be turne on
using the buttons on the control panel.

Horizontal Beam: To turn on 360°horizontal laser line, press the horizontal
button once.
Press the horizontal button once again to turn horizontal beam off.

Vertical Beams: To turn on vertical beams press the vertical beam button, this
activates 2 opposite vertical beams an the plumb spot.
Press the vertical button again to activate the remaining vertical beams, you now
have 4 vertical beams emitte at 90°to each other also forming a cross on the
ceiling. - Press vertical button again to turn vertical beams off.

Turn off: To turn off completely, switch the on/off switch to off position, this
eactivates all beams an locks pen ulum.
-The level vial is a gui e only, unit will self level provi ing it’s within 3º of level.-

For greater versatility this tool has a pulse mo e which enables the tool to be
use in conjunction with a etector (LX55D) exten ing the tools range to 50m.
-To enable out oor mo e, turn instrument laser beam on then press the out oor
mo e switch once. This enables the beam pulsate mo e so it can be picke up
by the etector.
-Turn on etector (on/off switch) You can now check level an 90º set-outs
out oors using optional etector
-Press the out oor mo e button once again to isable out oor mo e

The accuracy of the tool is +/- 1.5mm in 10m.
Before use check that the instrument is within tolerance.
-Place instrument on a soli base i.e. bench top, approx 5m from a wall.
-Turn on horizontal beam an all vertical beams
-To check horizontal beam, point crossline towar s wall & mark the wall
at horizontal level point
-Rotate instrument 90º(next crossline intersection) on tripo ic base an
mark wall again, repeat this proce ure at the remaining two crossline
intersections
-You shoul now have four marks on the wall. If these points are less than
1.5mm apart the instrument is ok to use if ifference excee s 1.5mm
sen back to ealer for calibration.
To check vertical accuracy, utilise a known plumb point such as a oorway/
win ow frame an check that vertical beam lines up.

position for transportation.
