CAUTION ELECTRICAL INFORMATION
• Be sure your electrical wiring is adequate for the model you have chosen. This information can be found on
the rating label, a silver-colored sticker generally located on the upper-right side of the cabinet.
• Be sure the air conditioner is properly grounded. To minimize shock and fire hazards, proper grounding is
important. The power cord is equipped with a three-prong
grounding plug for protection against shock hazards.
• Your air conditioner must be connected to a properly
grounded wall receptacle. If the wall receptacle you intend to
use is not adequately grounded or protected by a time delay
fuse or circuit breaker, have a qualified electrician install the proper
receptacle.
• Ensure the receptacle is accessible aer the unit installation.
 Stop operation and remove window filler
panels from window during severe storm
or hurricane.
 Hold the plug by the head of the power
plug when unplugging unit.
 Unplug the power cord when not using
the unit for extended periods of time.
• Operation during a severe storm may allow
a significant amount of water to enter the
indoors.
• Pulling from the wire can cause wire to fray
leading to electric shock or fire. • Will prevent damage to the unit.
Do not place obstacles around air-intake
vents or inside cool air outlet.

power cord and ensure that the cord
is not pinched or stressed.

Clean filter at least once per month.

NOTE: The power supply cord with this air conditioner
contains a current detection device designed to reduce the risk
of fire. In the event that the power supply cord is damaged, it
cannot be repaired -- it must be replaced with a cord from the
Product Manufacturer.
The power supply cord contains a current device that senses damage
to the power cord and excess current draw from the unit. To test your
current device do the following:
1. Plug in the Air Conditioner.
2. Press the TEST button. You will hear a click as the RESET button
pops out within the rubber housing and the LED will turn o.
3. Press the RESET button. You will hear a click as the button
engages and the LED will illuminate.
4. The power supply cord is now supplying electricity to the unit.
Note: Your model may have the TEST and RESET buttons on the
side or the front of the plug head.
NOTES:
• Do not use the TEST and RESET buttons to turn the unit on or o.
• If the current device fails the test or the power cord becomes dam-
aged, the entire power cord must be replaced with an equivalent
power cord and current device by a licensed electrician.

gest life and highest energy eiciency of your unit, please follow these operating instructions
carefully. Keep these instructions in a safe place and consult them as needed. Please note that
constant enhancement and improvements to our air conditioning units may mean that your
model will dier slightly in appearance from the model pictured in this manual, but the actual
operation and installation of the unit remains unchanged. This manual is solely provided for
informational purposes and does not constitute a binding, legal contract.

the model number for you and your unique 13-digit
serial number is located under the longest bar code,
which should be found on the right side of the unit as
shown in the illustration. (Typically beginning with

ities to operate or play around the air conditioner without direct adult supervision.
• Never allow children to perform cleaning or other user-maintenance operations
without direct adult supervision.
• Never attempt to repair or disassemble the air conditioner by yourself.
• Never insert objects into the air conditioner.
OPERATING CONDITIONS
• The air conditioner should only be operated within the temperature range of 62°F
to 95°F (16°C to 35°C).
• The appliance is for indoor use only.
• The appliance must be positioned so that the plug is accessible.
• A perimeter of 12′′(30cm) around the air conditioner should be free of all objects.
• Do not operate the air conditioner in a humid environment.
• Please keep air inlet and air outlet clean and free of obstacles.
• During operation, close doors and windows to improve cooling eect.
• Please put the air conditioner on smooth and flat ground for operation to avoid
noise and vibration.
• This air conditioner is equipped with casters that roll on smooth, flat surfaces.
• Do not tilt or turn over the air conditioner. If there’s problem, please disconnect
the power supply immediately and contact your local dealer or technical support.

PRE INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
You must vent your portable air conditioner when operating in cooling mode. Your unit
includes a window exhaust kit that can be installed on a horizontal or vertical sliding win-
dow as shown in the picture below.
Please follow the installation instructions carefully to ensure maximum eiciency and to
avoid personal injury or damage.
Before operating your air conditioner:
Identify a suitable installation location:
• The air conditioner should be placed on a firm foundation to minimize noise
and vibration. For safe and secure positioning, place the unit on a smooth, level
floor strong enough to support the unit.
• The unit must be placed within reach of a properly grounded socket.
• Never place any obstacles around the air inlet or outlet of the unit.
• Allow 12 to 40 inches of space between the back of the unit and the wall for
eicient air-conditioning.
Make sure that you have all the parts necessary for installation (included):
Refer to the parts list on page 8. Contact Customer Support if any parts are
missing from the box.
Gather the following suggested tools shown below for the installation process (not
included):

INSTALLING YOUR UNIT
INSTALL WINDOW FILLER PANELS
The set of window filler panels is designed for installation in most vertical or horizontal
sash windows. You may be required to slightly modify your specific installation to ensure
safe and proper use of your air conditioner unit.
NOTE: The window panel cannot be installed in windows less than 22"(559mm) wide as
you will be unable to shut the exhaust cover.
STEP 1: Attach the protective grille to the
window panel. Push the grille firmly to ensure
that its four projections fit into the holes in the
window panel.
STEP 2: Cut the foam seal to the
proper length and attach it to the
window sill.
STEP 3: Attach the window panel to the windowsill.
A) If the inner width of the window is between
22"(559mm) and 24"(609mm) wide:
1. Remove the adjustment panel from
the window panel and cut the window
panel to the same width as the win-
dow frame opening.
2. Open the window and
place the window panel on
the windowsill.
3. Secure the window panel
to the windowsill with 2
screws.

B) If the inner width of the window is between 24"(609mm) and 36½"(927mm)
wide:
1. Open the window and place the win-
dow panel on the windowsill.
2. Slide the adjustment panel to fit the
window frame width.
3. Secure the window panel to the win-
dowsill with 3 screws.
C) If the inner width of the window is between 36 ½"(927mm) and 48"(1219mm)
wide:
1. Attach the extension panel to the adjustment
panel.
2. Open the window and place the window panel
on the windowsill.
3. Slide the adjustment panel and exten-
sion panels to fit the window frame
width.
4. Secure the window panel to the win-
dowsill with 4 screws.
STEP 4: Cut the foam seal to the proper length and attach it to the top of the window
panel.
STEP 5: Close the window securely against the window panel.
STEP 6: Cut the foam seal to the proper length
and seal the opening between the top of the
inner window sash and the outer window sash.
STEP 7: Attach the bracket with a screw.

INSTALLATION FOR VERTICAL SLIDING SASH WINDOWS
For windows that have vertical sliding sashes, please
follow these installation instructions.
Note: The window panel cannot be installed in
windows less than 22" (559mm) high, as you will be
unable to shut the exhaust cover.

STEP 4: Cut the foam seal to the proper length and attach it to the top of the window
panel.
STEP 5: Close the window securely against the window panel.
STEP 6: Cut the foam seal to the proper length and seal the opening
between the top of the inner window sash and the outer window sash.
STEP 7: Attach the bracket with a screw.
INSTALLATION OF THE EXHAUST HOSE
Your portable air conditioner is designed to exhaust condensate water that is collected
from the air. This water, in either gaseous or droplet form, will be expelled out the exhaust
port of the unit.
For maximum energy eiciency and to preserve the longest life of your unit, avoid bend-
ing the hose and keep the exhaust hose length as short as possible. The exhaust hose
supplied with this portable air conditioner has been specifically designed for this unit. Do
not lengthen the hose by adding additional hoses or attachments to the hose.
STEP 1: Connect the two pieces of the window exhaust adapter by combining them
together and pressing the clasp forcibly into the groove.

STEP 2: Install the hose at the rear clip of the win-
dow exhaust adapter (assembled in the previous
step). Aim the opening of the hose at the round
mouth of the rear clip and rotate the hose counter-
clockwise into the rear clip of the window exhaust
adapter.
STEP 3: Install the hose to the Joint A. Aim the opening
of the hose at the round mouth of Joint A. Rotate the
hose counterclockwise into joint A.
STEP 4: Attach Joint A to the back of the portable AC unit with the two cutouts on the
joint. Line them up over the two tabs on the air exhaust outlet. slide Joint A down firmly
until it clicks.
Note: To remove the hose assembly, make sure to
press down on the two exhaust outlet tabs and then
li the hose assembly up.
STEP 5: Install the exhaust hose sub assembly to the rear plate of the protective grille of
the window panel.

DRAINAGE PIPE SETUP
The drainage hose must be installed before using this unit. Not doing so can result in a
block in the drain and may prevent the unit from functioning normally. Condensation
buildup in humid environments will severely impact the eiciency and normal operation
of your unit.
STEP 1: Remove the attached rubber plug found at the rear base of the unit.
STEP 2: Using the provided screw, attach the drainage pipe clip near the drainage port.
STEP3: Place the drainage pipe onto the drainage port and fasten with the drainage
pipe spring clip. Place the rubber stopper at the top of the pipe, securing with the pipe
hoop and clip the hose to the unit.

4. Temperature LED: Displays the desired room temperature during cooling mode. In
other modes, the display will be blank.
5. Dry/Dehumidifier mode operation (when illuminated)

7. Mode button: Press the Mode button to cycle between AUTO, COOL, DRY, and FAN
mode.
8. Temperature +/- buttons: Set the desired room temperature by pressing the ap-
propriate button. Temperature changes are displayed in 1° increments in the
range of 61°F (16°C) and 86°F (30°C) Note: Temperature cannot be set when using
the fan or dehumidifier modes
9. Power ON/OFF button: Use this button to turn the unit on or o.
Basic operations can be performed directly by interfacing with the control panel but-
tons described above. For more advanced features and settings, you will need to use
the remote controller.
When the water tank is full a buzzer will sound eight times indicating that it is time to
drain the unit. an error code "H8" will appear on the LED display screen.

USING THE REMOTE CONTROLLER
POWER ON/OFF BUTTON
Press the ON/OFF button to turn the unit on or o.
MODE BUTTON
Cycle between Auto mode, Cool mode, Dry mode, and Fan mode.
• Auto: When Auto mode is selected, the air conditioner will operate automatically
according to the ambient temperature. The set temperature cant be adjusted unless
the mode is switched to cooling.
• Cool: If the ambient temperature drops below the temperature you selected, the
compressor turns o and functions with the fan only. When the temperature rises
above the selected temperature, the compressor turns on again. The Cool indicator
will be lit. You can press the "+" or "-" button to increase or decrease the set tempera-
ture.
To operate the unit in Cool mode:
1. Make sure the power cord is plugged into a power outlet.
2. Press the ON/OFF button on the remote.
3. Press the MODE button until the COOL indicator light on the control panel lights
up.
4. Select the fan speed by using the FAN button.
5. Set the thermostat by using the "+" or "-" buttons on the remote.
• Dry (Dehumidifier): When Dry mode is selected, the unit operates at a low speed.
The Dry indicator light will be lit. During Dry mode, the fan speed can't be adjusted.
• Fan: Fan mode is used to circulate the air in the room. No temperature setting is
needed.
To operate the unit in Fan mode:
1. Make sure the power cord is plugged into a power outlet.
2. Press the ON/OFF button on the remote.
3. Press the MODE button until the FAN indicator light on the control panel lights
up.
4. Select the Fan button to adjust the fan speed

changes are displayed in 1° increments in the range of 61°F (16°C) and 86°F (30°C)
Note: Temperature cannot be set when using the fan or dehumidifier modes
