4.
Decide where the pump will be installed.
This will determine the waste outlet orientation in the
next stage.
3.
Determine which corner the tray is to be fitted into.
This will establish which edges the fabric up stand
will be attached to.
Radiate Shower Tray
Installation Guide
Assemble the shallow waste to the tray using the
screw provided. Ensure the seal is positioned correctly
and do not over tighten the screw.
Ensure the waste is assembled correctly, incorrect
alignment or assembly may result in a leak.
First remove of release paper. Carefully position against
the tray and press firmly into place ensuring there are no
bubbles or creases.
We recommend using a roller to do this.
Do no stretch as you apply.
The outlet pipe needs to be bonded to the waste using
solvent cement to ensure a watertight seal.
Both components will need to have solvent weld
applied to them.

The waste outlet must be
aligned as shown in this illustration.
If the waste is assembled as shown

possible to assemble in this manner.

DETAIL
SCALE 1 : 8
Apply tile adhesive to the wall ready for the tile up-stand.
If the floor is not level this may be corrected by bedding
down on sand and cement or tile adhesive.
Put the tray into position and press the up-stand into
the tile adhesive ensuring there are no air gaps.
Check the tray is level on all four sides.
Allow 24 hours before exposing to water.
The tiling can now be completed.
Radiate Shower Tray
Installation Guide
Fit the pump and connect up to the tray pipe-work.
Ensure that the pipe-work is not under strain when connected.
With reference to page 5 (Fig1) determine the pipe exit
point and drill a hole in the side of the tray. This should
be a minimum 16mm diameter to allow the 15mm waste
pipe to pass through the side wall of the shower tray.
Feed the pipe through the drilled hole and connect to
the waste pipe outlet, the other end will connect to
the pump once the tray installation is complete.
We recommend using copper tube.

Radiate Shower Tray
Installation Guide
The tray design allows for 15mm pipe-work to be concealed around the underside perimeter of the tray. See
suggested pipe-work routes and exit points. When the desired exit point has been established the side of the
shower tray will need to be carefully drilled with a 16mm hole saw or similar.
Due to limited clearance space under the shower tray push-fit fittings must not be used.
Do not use elbow fittings, pipe-work should be bent using a pipe bender to reduce the risk of blockages.
We recommend installing with Impey half-height shower doors and ramp kit for easy access.
