Instruction for installation and use
ST-01RN
Radio control flush mounted controller with integrated touch panel
ST-01RN controller is compatible with RCUs:
PIL-01PT, PIL-01/04NS, PIL-01/05/09HT, PIL-01/05/09PM, PIL-19/99PMT,
PIL-01/05/09DL, PIL-19/99DLT.
Versions of ST-01RN:
ST-01RN –individual roller shutter controller
ST-01RNS –individual light controller
ST-01RNZ –individual venetian blinds controller.
1. SAFETY GUIDELINES
Basic guidelines
• Before use read instruction for installation and use.
• Check the compatibility of the permissible voltage of the device with the local power supply before
connecting.
• Only qualified and licenced personnel is allowed to install and repair electrical devices.
• It is prohibited to make any changes or modifications to the drive. Warranty repairs may be conducted only
by the manufacturer.
• Use only original spare parts and accessories during post-warranty repairs.
• Use an isolation switch allowing for safe power supply disconnection (e.g. fuse cut-off switch) installed in
such a way that all connections can easily be cut out.
• Inspect wires and cables regularly for damaged insulation and conductor continuity.
• If any damage is identified, cut off power immediately and replace the damaged wiring.
Supplementary safety regulations
When installing, using or carrying out maintenance work all binding health and safety regulations should be
followed. Particular attention should be paid to the following:
1. European Standards
2. Fire regulations
3. Accident avoidance regulations
PERSONAL SAFETY WARNING
•Do not allow children to play with any of the control devices.
•Keep all remote control devices out of the reach of children.
•Observe the opening or shutting of the blinds, shutters, awnings or gates and ensure all persons stand clear
until the operation is completed.
•Control system operators need to undergo preliminary instruction and training and also be made aware of all the
potential dangers that can be encountered. A person should only be authorised to use the control system only
once the employer, administrator or owner is satisfied that that person has been properly instructed.
It is not permitted to dispose of waste equipment together with other waste. Dispose only in specially
designated areas. The household plays a key role in the recycling of waste equipment. By correct sorting of
waste, including waste equipment and batteries, household members ensure that the equipment is not
disposed together with household waste, but in specially designated areas, and thus may be used again after recycling.

2. ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
Safety guidelines:
• Only persons with appropriate authorisation may install the controller.
• Protect the device against contact with any liquids, impact and shock.
• Do not connect more than one drive to the device.
WARNING! DISCONNECT POWER SUPPLY BEFORE MAKING ANY CONNECTIONS!
Wiring of motor:
↓ - motor DOWN direction wire
N –motor COM wire
↑ - motor UP direction wire
Wiring of mains:
L - L1 (230 VAC mains)
N –N (230 VAC mains)
3. ACTIVATING WITH TOUCH PANEL
ST-01RN has three touch fields:
▲ „ UP”
—„ STOP”
▼ „ DOWN”
Activating the blinds:
To active the motor press and release one of touch fields UP, DOWN or STOP to stop the motor.
Activating the Venetian blinds:
Press and hold “STOP” touch field and press and release “UP” or “DOWN” touch field.
4. ACTIVATING WITH RCU
Controlling with RCU is possible after registration its channel to ST-01RN.
5. RCU REGISTRATION
Before registration procedure remove external frame from controller.
Press registration button SW1 form 1 second (red LED D2 will light).
The controller remains in the registration mode for the next 10 seconds.
WARNING! Do not hold SW1 for more than 3 seconds, it will erase
all registered RCU’s.

Press the connected roller blind switch.
•PIL-01/04NS, PIL-01/05/09/19PM, PIL-19/99PMT, PIL-01/05/09/19DL, PIL-19/99DLT
Press ▲UP button for the channel to be registered on RCU.
Blink of LED D2 will verify the correct registration.

6. RCU REGISTRATION USNG ANOTHER RCU
If registered remote control is available other channels of the same or different RCU may be registered by
entering registration mode with a registered RCU:
• Press ▲and ▼ simultaneously on the RCU,
Red LED D2 will light and roller shutter will move up and down in a series of short movements, corresponding to the
number of registered channels. The controller remains in the registration mode for the next 10 seconds:
• Press ▲UP button for the channel to be registered on RCU PIL-01/04NS, PIL-01/05/09/19DL,
PIL-01/05/09/19PM, PIL-19/99PMT,
• Press the connected roller blind switch PIL-01PT.
Blink of LED D2 and roller shutter move up and down in a series of short movements, corresponding to the number
of registered channels verify correct registration.
Any channel can be registered to any controller, provided that the registered remote control is already
available.
7. ERASING RCUs FROM CONTROLLER
To clear all registered channels switch SW1 should be pressed and held until LED D2 starts to blink. After releasing
the switch, all registered channels will be cleared.
WARNING! There is no possibility to erase only one channel.
