A CAUTION!
Small children can fall through a leg opening.
Adjust leg openings to smallest possible size.
Please follow instructions for use. Only use
this carrier for children between 8 lbs and
22 lbs (3.6kgs - 10 kgs) and at least 21”
(53cm) long.
A WARNING-
SUFFOCATION &
FALL HAZARD!
Prior to use ensure that child is secured in the
harness system. Baby’s air flow should not be
obstructed at any time.
IMPORTANT!
Check frequently to make sure that your baby’s
head and body are in an upright position in
the carrier. Baby’s chin should not point down
toward baby’s chest. Baby should only face out
when he or she can support his or her own
head and is awake.
Check to assure all buckles, snaps, straps and
adjustments are secure before each use.
This Comfort Rider® is subject to normal
wear and tear during use. Before each
use, carefully inspect the carrier for any
signs of loose seams, tears or separation, or
broken hardware. If any are found please
discontinue use.
Do not wear your Comfort Rider® while cooking
or engaging in activities which might prove
harmful to your baby.
This Comfort Rider® is only intended for
use by adults while walking or standing—
never use this ComfortRider while running,
biking, jogging, or operating any type of
motorized vehicle.
Do not bend at the waist when leaning down-
always bend at the knees to make sure that
baby stays securely in carrier.
Your balance may be adversly affected by your
movement and that of your child.
If baby falls asleep, turn baby’s face to the
side to provide an unobstructed source of air.
Failure to comply may cause a potential
suffocation hazard.
Never leave baby unattended. Comfort Rider®
is not designed for holding child in motor
vehicles and should not be used in place of
a car seat that meets federal motor vehicle
safety standards.
There should always be room between baby’s
face and your chest to provide a clear source
of air.
Subject to normal wear and tear during use.
Carefully check to assure that the carrier seams
and hardware are not broken. If any are found,
please discontinue use.
Putting on Your Comfort Rider®
Please carefully read all the instructions
BEFORE assembling and using your
Comfort Rider®. Please keep owner’s manual
for future use.
IMPORTANT!
Always put carrier on your body before putting
in baby. Unbuckle the shoulder straps and slip
the carrier over your head. The carrier’s
front opening should be against your chest.
The padded round strap holder should be
between the bottom of your shoulder blades.
(Figure 1).
Fasten the hardware at the end of your shoulder
strap to each side of the carrier. Pull each end
of the strap until the carrier fits snuggly against
your body. (Figure 2).

Adjusting Your Comfort Rider®
Adjust the carrier until baby is high on your
chest. You should be able to easily kiss the
top of your baby’s head. Gently lift baby with
one hand and pull on the end of the strap
at your waist. Repeat on the other side.
(Figure 3). Make sure the padded round strap
holder divider is between the bottom of your
shoulder blades.
Putting Baby in Comfort Rider®
Facing In
Your child must face toward you until he or she
can hold their head upright.
Your new baby needs lots of close contact and
attention! Comfort Rider’s® facing-in position
is the perfect way to keep your little one
cuddled against you. The wrap-around head
support cradles baby's head and neck and
even provides support when baby falls asleep!
You can entertain and bond with your baby by
talking, touching, playing, and making eye-
contact - and still have your hands free!
1. Carrier sides open for easy baby-entry.
Release one side of the head support.
Unbuckle the side opening and detach hook
and loop fasteners. Carefully slide baby into
the carrier through the opening and hold
baby against you. Make sure that each of
baby’s legs is securely in its own opening
and baby’s arms are through the arm holes.
(Figure 4).
2. Fasten hardware over the hook and loop
side openings, and pull on the end of
webbing strap to adjust fit. Leg openings
must be adjusted to the smallest possible
size. (Figure 5).
3. While supporting baby’s weight with one
hand, attach the head support buckle to
the buckle on your shoulder strap. Before
releasing your hold on the baby, ensure that
the buckle is securely fastened. (Figure 6).
Facing Out
When your little one can fully support his or her
own head, it is time to explore! Comfort Rider®
facing-out position lets baby have the best
of both worlds, being held by you and
checking out the things that are going on all
around you!
1. Fold down the head support and place baby
in the carrier, facing away from you. (Follow
the same steps for putting baby in—facing
in.) Adjust the head support straps until
baby’s back is snugly against your chest.
Baby should not lean forward. (Figure 7).
2. A smaller baby’s arms should be positioned
through the arm holes (Figure 8). A bigger
baby’s arms will rest comfortably over
the sides of the head support.
IMPORTANT!
If baby falls asleep in the facing-out position,
immediately switch to the facing-in position or
remove baby from carrier.
Removing Baby From Comfort Rider®
1. To take baby out, simply open one side of the
carrier. Unfasten the side openings, release
the head support from your shoulder strap
and slide baby out. (Figure 9).
2. To remove a sleeping baby, release both
sides of the head support. Slide one hand
into the carrier and hold baby securely
against your chest. Use your other hand to
open the carrier sides. The carrier’s front will
now fall forward, and you can put your baby
down, still asleep. This is also a great way to
easily transfer your baby to dad, grandma
etc. when awake. (Figure 10).

PPORTANTE!
Revise con frecuencia para asegurarse de que
la cabeza y el cuerpo de su bebe mantlenen una
posicion vertical en el portabebes. La barbllla
del bebe no debe apuntar hacia abajo. El bebe
soiamente debe orientarse hacia afuera cuando
pueda sostener su cabeza y este despierto.
Cada vez que lo use, verifique siempre que

dMPORTANTE!
Coldquese siempre primero el portabebes antes
de colocar al bebe. Desabroche las correas para
los hombros y desllce el portabebes sobre su
cabeza. La abertura delantera del portabebes
debe estar frente al pecho. El sujetador de la
correa redondo acolchado debe estar entre la
parte Inferior de sus omoplatos. (Figura 1).
Sujete la pleza en el extreme de la correa para
el hombro a cada lado del portabebes. Tire de
cada extreme de la correa hasta que la cuna se
ajuste bien a su cuerpo. (Figura 2).

Ajuste de Comfort Rider®
Ajuste el portabebes hasta que el bebe quede
bien arriba sobre su pecho. Debe ser capaz de
besar fkllmente la parte superior de la cabeza
del bebe. Levante suavemente al bebe con
una mano y tire del extreme de la correa en su
cintura. Repita en el otro lado. (Figura 3).
Asegurese de que el sujetador de la correa
redondo acolchado este entre la parte inferior
de sus ombplatos.
Colocacion del bebe de
Comfort Rider®
Orientado hacia usted.
Su hijo debe orientarse hacia usted hasta que
pueda mantener erguida la cabeza.
jSu bebe necesita mucho contacto fntimo y
atencion! La posicion orientada hacia usted de
ComfortRider® es la manera perfecta para que
su bebe lo abrace. El soporte cruzado para la
cabeza sostiene la cabeza y el cuello del bebe e
jincluso brinda apoyo cuando el bebe se queda
dormido! Puede entretenerse y establecer lazos
afectivos con su bebe hablandole, tocandolo,
jugando y mirandolo a los ojos iy aun asi tener
las manos libres!
1. Los lados del portabebes se abren para que
sea mas facil colocar al bebe. Suelte un lado
del soporte para la cabeza. Desabroche la
abertura lateral y despegue el Hook&Loop ™ .
Coloque con cuidado al bebe en el portabebes
a traves de la abertura y apoyelo contra usted.
Asegurese de que las piernas del bebe esten
bien colocadas en sus propias aberturas
y que los brazos hayan pasado los orificios
correspondientes. (Figura 4).
2. Sujete la pieza en las aberturas laterales con
Hook&Loop ™ y tire del extreme de la correa
de refuerzo para que quede bien ajustada.
Las aberturas para las piernas deben tener el
menor tamaho posible. (Figura 5).
3. Mientras sostiene el peso del bebe con una
mano, abroche el soporte para a cabeza en
su correa para el hombro. Antes de soltar al
bebe, asegurese de que la hebilla este bien
sujeta. (Figura 6).
Orientado hacia afuera.
Cuando su hijo pueda sostener por si solo su
cabeza, jes momento de explorer! La posicion
orientada hacia afuera de ComfortRider® tiene
lo mejor de ambos mundos, justed sostiene a
su hijo y este puede ver lo que esta pasando
alrededor de ambos!
1. Pliegue el soporte para la cabeza y coloque al
bebe en el portabebes, con su cara orientada
hacia afuera. (Siga los mismos pasos que
llevo a cabo para colocar al bebe orientado
hacia usted.) Ajuste las correas del soporte
para la cabeza hasta que la espalda del bebe
este bien apqyada en su pecho. El bebe no
debe irse hacia delante. (Figura 7).
2. Los brazos de un bebe mas pequeho deben
colocarse a traves de los orificios para los
brazos (consulte la ilustracibn). Los brazos
de un bebe mas grande deben descansar de
manera comoda sobre los lados del soporte
para la cabeza.(Figura 8).
pPORTANTE!

Extraccion del bebe de
ComfortRider®
1. Para sacar al bebe, simplemente abra uno
de los lados del portabebes. Desenganche
las aberturas laterales, desabroche el soporte
para la cabeza de la correa para el hombro y
saque al bebe. (Figura 9).
2. Para sacar a un bebe dormido, suelte ambos
lados del soporte para la cabeza. Deslice una
mano en el portabebes y sostenga firmemente
al bebe contra su pecho. Use la otra mano
para abrir los lados de la cuna. La parte
delantera de esta caera hacia delante y podra
bajar al bebe, sin despertarlo. Esta tambien es
una gran manera de pasar su bebe al papa,
abuela, etc. cuando esta despierto. Siga los
pasos anteriores para soltar la parte delantera
del portabebes, ademas el traspaso es facil.
