Chapter I System Introduction
1.1 Product Description
Infinova's V1772N-T series IP PTZ dome provide users a
high-definition, high frame rate and high SNR real-time images
acquisition system.
V1772N-T series 2.0 megapixel domes (including V1772N-20T2H,
20T2L, V1772N-20T2T and V1772N-20T2S) support the function
to view and control H.264 high profile/M-JPEG dual encoded HD
video streams, and support three video streams, with the maximum
resolution up to 1920 × 1080 @ 30fps. V1772N-20T2H and
V1772N-220TL series 2.0 megapixel domes use 1/2.8" progressive
scanning CMOS sensors, with an inbuilt 20X optical zoom lense.
V1772N-30T2S series 2.0 megapixel domes use 1/2.8" progressive
scanning CMOS sensors, with an inbuilt 30X optical zoom lens.
V1772N-30T2H series 2.0 megapixel domes use 1/3" progressive
scanning CMOS sensors, with an inbuilt 30X optical zoom lens.
V1772N-T series 1.0 megapixel domes (including V1772N-18T0H,
V1772N-30T0H) use 1/3" progressive scanning CCD sensors, with
inbuilt 18X optical zoom lenses, which support H.264 high profile /
M-JPEG dual encoded HD video streams, with the maximum
resolution up to 128× 720 @ 30fps.
Infinova V1772N-T series IP PTZ domes facilitate setup and
operation via web interface by using mouse for its GUI (graphic
User Interface) design. Under PTZ control status, it has the features
of zoom area and image PTZ control.
Infinova V1772N-T series HD IP dome provides exceptional AI
(artificial intelligence) functions like preset, pattern, autopan and
autoscan, timing tour, and power-on reset etc. In H.264 real-time
video scanning, snapshots and local recording are also supported.

Chapter II IE Browser Setting
The user must set the IE browser and system before attempting to
view the video. When set the IE browser, pay attention that the
dome supports IE browser version at Internet Explorer 6.0 or later.
Before attempting to view the image, make sure the system have
installed InfiH264.cab controls and supports Directx 9.0c image
view software.
2.1 Equipment Connection
V1772N-T series domes can be directly connected to PC or
network.
Note: Check if the connection is tight before power-on.
2.2 Set IE Browser
V1772N-T series IP domes can be viewed or controlled through IE
browser. In order to download the ActiveX controls normally, the
user also has to set the security property of Internet browser.
1. Click “Tool” on the menu, and then click “Internet” on the
pop-up menu;
2. Select “Security” in the pop-up options, as shown in Figure 2-1;

3. Select the “Internet” icon, and then click “Custom Level”, the
following interface will pop up;

4. For the “Download unsigned ActiveX control” options, change
the “Disable” to “Enable” or “Prompt”;
5. Switch to “Privacy” option, and deselect the checkbox of “Block
pop-ups”.

Chapter III System Setting
This chapter mainly introduces the system setting for Megapixel
Network PTZ Domes.
3.1 Video View
After the dome is powered for about 60 seconds, please open the IE
browser and then enter the IP address, such as the default
http://192.168.1.100 (Note: The default subnet mask is
255.255.255.0, and the default gateway is 192.168.1.254. Please set
the local IP address before login and visit). The user login dialog
box will be displayed, as shown below:

If it is the first time to run the software, users should use the default
super username and password. The default Super User is “admin”
(Password: admin). Please input the correct user name and
password, and then press “OK” to login.
Note: Please modify the password of the admin user in time to
ensure the safety of the system.
When the Super User login successfully, the system will enter the
following interface:

V1772N-T series domes support H.264/M-JPEG compression.
After the login, users will enter the live view interface under the
major stream of the H.264 format.
Click the expand button for the “View” option on the navigation bar,
select H.264 minor stream, M-JPEG etc. formats in the drop-down
list to view the video. In the H.264 major stream, minor stream
view interface, users can conduct recording, snapshot, audio
input/output switch settings. In video viewing, the view screen ratio
can be selected flexibly in the video size drop-down list. Users can
also select the view mode as “Real-time” or “Smooth” as per the
scene.
Click the button can snapshot the current image. And click the
button to access the saving path of the snapshot. The default
path is: C:\InfiPlayerAX\Picture.
V1772N-T series domes support local PC recording. Click the
recording button to start the recording, and the button turns to
. Click the button to stop the recording. When take local PC
recording, prompt characters of “REC” will be displayed on the
video interface. Click the button can access the record saving
path. And the default saving path is: C:\InfiPlayerAX\ Video
(Saving paths for snapshot and record can be set in the Audio video
settings interface. Please refer to the section 3.5.5 for details.)
Expand the option of "Function switch", and the buttons
represents that the audio input and output are closed. And click the
buttons can switch on the functions. Buttons represent that
the functions of motion detection and privacy mask are enabled.
And click the buttons to turn them into to disable the
function.
Note: Only when the motion detection and privacy mask functions
are enabled in the Audio video interface, the motion detection and
privacy mask settings can be set in the Live view settings interface.
Please refer to the sections 3.5.3 and 3.5.4 for details.
In the live view interface, uses can perform PTZ control, call up
PTZ functions and conduct image PTZ operations. Please refer to
the Chapter IV for details.
Click “Setting” button to enter the System settings interface.

From the left navigation bar, the super user can check the system
information, to conduct time settings and advanced settings,

network settings, camera settings, audio and video settings, PTZ
functions, time functions, alarm settings, record, user management
(add/delete user, change password), and view the system log etc.

The chapter will mainly introduce the system settings and the
operation methods for the Super User.
3.2 System
Click the “System” in the left navigation bar, and the setting
interface is shown as in figure 3-3. The system interface includes 3
options: System, Time, and Advanced.
3.2.1 System Settings
The initial interface for system setting is the “System” interface.
From the interface, users can see the setting information of the
system, like: basic information, network settings, alarm settings,
NTP settings, H.264 video settings, and MJPEG video settings etc.
3.2.2 Time Settings

Time zone settings
Time zone: select the proper time zone in the drop-down list. There
are 33 time zones available.
If daylight saving time is used in the local place, users can enable
the option “Daylight saving time”.
Click the “Save” button to finish the setting.
NTP set
Set NTP server IP, Sync time interval etc. parameters.
After the settings, click the “Save” button to finish the setting.
Sync now
The Sync mode can be selected from “NTP” mode and “PC” mode.
PC sync means the device time will sync with the local PC time. In
NTP sync mode, the system will check time with the NTP server
automatically.
3.2.3 Advanced Settings

Software update
Free software update is provided for V1772N-T series domes, and
this update service can reduce system maintenance budget.
According to system update requirement submitted by users, we
will send update letter for confirming the version of the product and
provide the latest software for download, and help users to update
the V1772N-T series domes.
Follow the steps below to update software:
Click “Browse” button in the interface and the file selection dialog
box will pop up.

Select the update file, and press “Open” button. The selected update
file will be displayed in the Software Update box.
After that, click “Submit” button to update software.
After update successfully, it needs to reboot the system.
Note: Available only for the super user.

Factory Settings
V1772N-T series domes provide online reset function, which
greatly facilitates reset adjustment.
Click “Reset” button and the system will pop up a message to
confirm factory reset.

Click “OK”, all the parameters excluding IP address will be reset to
the factory default settings. If factory reset is successful, the
following message will be displayed:

If “Keep current IP unchanged” is selected, the IP address will keep
unchanged after restoring factory default settings.
Note:
1. To avoid error happens, the operation of online reset function
should be performed under qualified personnel’s guide.
2. If factory setting is finished, IP address is restored to
192.168.1.100, and subnet mask is restored to 255.255.255.0.
3. Do not power off during reset, or else the reset will fail.
Online Reboot
Click “Reboot” and the system will restart. It will take 60 seconds.
But, if the reboot occurs after software updated, it will take 90
seconds.
Note: Available only for the super user.
3.3 Network Settings
Click the “Network” button on the left navigation bar, the following
figure will pop up.

There are 13 tabs for settings: Network, FTP, SMTP, HTTPS,
802.1X, QOS, IGMP, SIP, MDA, DDNS, UPnP, Huning and IP
filter.
3.3.1 Network
IP mode: The IP mode supports IPv4 and IPv6. Compared with
each other, the configuring network parameters may differ.

In the Network setting interface (as show above), users can open
and close DHCP. When DHCP is closed, please manually set IP
address, subnet mask, gateway and IP address of the DNS server.

Note: When the Network setting is successful, the system indicator
will flash about 5 seconds.
PPPoE function can be enabled/disabled in the interface. When the
PPPoE function is enabled, the dialing user name and password are
to be set in the interface.
V1772N-T series domes support heartbeat function. In the SNMP
setting interface, input the heartbeat server IP address, heartbeat
interval, and click the save button, then the device will send
heartbeat package to the designated server or client, to help the
server and client check the network status of the device.
3.3.2 FTP

V1772N-T series domes support the function of alarm associated
FTP image unloading (automatically capture images when alarm
occurs). Set the server IP, user name and password for login in the
FTP setting interface. Then activate the alarm associated FTP
uploading function in the alarm setting interface to realize the FTP
image uploading function upon alarms.
3.3.3 SMTP

The domes support the function of alarm associated email sending.
The email server and receiver etc. information shall be set in the
SMTP setting interface.
zServer IP: Set mail server address.
zFrom: Set sender’s mail address.
zTo: Mail address of recipient.
zCC: Mail address of the person copy to.
zAuthentication: Enable or disable authentication function. This
function should be set according to authentication requirements
of mail server.
zUser name: Sender’s name, it can be set according user’s
needs.
zPassword: Set sender’s password.
If user selects “mail” in “Alarm Settings” interface, system will
send mails according to SMTP settings.
3.3.4 HTTPS

V1772N-T series domes support HTTPS protocol. You can import
the CA certificate in the interface above.
3.3.5 802.1X

V1772N-T series domes support 802.1X protocol. You have to
enable 802.1X authentication when needed. Then, select an EAP
method and enter the user name and password.
3.3.6 QoS

Users can set the network service quality in the QoS setting
interface.
There are 4 network Qos modes to be selected:
(1) Normal service
(2) Max reliability
(3) Max throughput
(4) Min delay
Default: Normal service

V1772N-T series domes support multicast function. In the IGMP
interface, users can select the stream type and set the state,
multicast IP address and RTP port.
3.3.8 SIP

SIP Server
SIP Server IP: the IP address of the SIP server;
Port: the port number of the SIP server;
Server ID: the ID of the SIP server;
Device ID: the device ID for registering the SIP server;
Alarm ID: registering ID for the alarm function of the device;
Register Interval: the re-register interval of the device, unit: second;
Heart Beat Interval: the interval of sending out the heart beat, unit:
second.
After the configuration is done, click the save button to register.
Position Information
Longitude: longitude of the installation position;
Latitude: latitude of the installation position.
Fluid Control
You can turn On or Off the Fluid Control function. And if you
select On you can set the maximum bandwidth.
3.3.9 MDA

In the MDA interface, users can set the IP server IP and the Port
NO.
3.3.10 DDNS Setting

The Dynamic Domain Name System (DDNS) can enable constant
synchronization of the host name and the dynamic IP address. Users
only need to input the dynamic domain name to connect to a
network camera instead of memorizing the dynamic IP address.
To employ this method, a PC with a static IP address shall be
available and moreover a dynamic domain name server shall be
running at the PC.
Operation: Select the Server enable option, and then select the
DDNS type. Input the IP address of the DDNS server, configure
Domain, User name, Password and Update time, and then save the
configurations. Open IE, input the domain name and you can access
the web search page of the device.

3.3.11 UPnP Setting

Build up a mapping relation between a private network and an
external network via UPNP protocol. Select “UPnP” key to enter
the setting interface and the mapping list added will appear on the
interface.
You can click “ ” to delete and “ ” to edit.
You can click the “Add” key to add a mapping.

On Huning interface, select a Stream Type from the drop down
list and set the corresponding State, MultiCast IP, MultiCast port
and Server IP.
3.3.13 IP Filter Setting
On the IP Filter interface you can configure Enable IP Filter
settings and add IP addresses that you can access (i.e. white list).

Click the icon and you can add an IP address on the
pop-up interface.

IP address format: xxx.yyy.yyy.zzz/www.
Note: For xxx you can select from 1~233 except 127; for yyy you
can select 0~255; for zzz you can select 1~254 and for www you
can select 1~24.
Click the Save button after you add an IP address and the added IP
address will appear on the IP address list. If you tick the Enable IP
Filter check box then you can only access the IP addresses that
have been added. Prior to enabling IP Filter, you shall ensure that
there are IP addresses to access and you shall remember the
addressable IP.
For the
icon at the right side operation column of the IPaddress list, you
can click the icon to delete and the icon to edit.
3.4 Camera Settings
For different camera modules, the camera setting interface will be
different.
Note: The dome supports the function of editing the camera
parameters modes. In the camera setting interface, users can set 6
groups of parameters, defining each group as a mode. And the set
mode can also be changed. In the Time Function interface, users
can call up the different modes flexibly. Please refer to the section
3.7.
3.4.1 V1772N-20T2H Camera Settings
For V1772N-20T2H series domes, click “Camera” tab to display
the figure below. The basic items include: zoom, focus, iris, white
balance, exposure, day/night, special functions and factory settings
etc.

Exposure mode, set iris level and select in F3.2~F9.1, 4 levels
adjustable.
yBacklight: ON, OFF. When turn on the BLC, the level of BLC
can be set.
yDSS (Digital Slow Shutter): The digital slow shutter slows the
picture frame rate and enhances the camera’s sensitivity in poor
light environments. When Exposure mode becomes Auto mode,
DSS is settable and ranges from 1/2~1/60, 6 levels adjustable.
yWDR mode: Off, WDR, WDR*, AD WDR, AD WDR*.
Day/Night
yThe BWC mode and BWC sens will change along with the
exposure mode. When the BWC mode is displayed as “Manual”,
the BWC settings can be set in the “Manual” BWC mode list.
yManual BWC mode: color and B/W mode optional. Color: the
video is in color, B/W: the video is in black and white
Note: In Auto Exposure mode (Auto (day), Auto (night)), the
exposure is automatically, but the BWC switch can be controlled
manually.
Special Functions:
yMirror mode: Off, H-mirror, V-mirror, HV-mirror.
yFreeze: On, Off, Freeze Preset (Pst).
ySharpness: Auto, Manual. In auto mode, it will auto adjust the
sharpness as per the video; in manual mode, the horizontal and
vertical sharpness can be adjust between 0~63.
ySlow AE: adjust the exposure time, with 1~48 optional. The
higher the value is, the longer the exposure time is, and vice
versa.
yFNR: Off, Manual, Auto 1, Auto 2, Auto 3; In Manual mode, the
FNR level can be selected in 1~15 levels.
yMax. AGC: set the maximum AGC value, 0~37 optional.
yAGC comps: set the AGC compensation value, 1~15 adjustable.
Picture mode: 4 picture modes optional. The default mode is mode
2. In the daylight outdoor environment, the picture mode 1 is with
better saturation degree; and in low illumination environment, the
picture mode 2 is with better lucidness, and the mode 3 and 4 are
with better brightness than mode 1 and 2.
yLucidness: turn on/off the lucidness function. When the function
is turned on, the contrast can be adjusted, so as to increase the
lucidness of the video.
3.4.2 V1772N-20T2L Camera Settings
For V1772N-20T2L series domes, click “Camera” tab to display the
interface shown as below. The configuration items includes Zoom,
Focus, Iris, White Balance, Exposure, Day/Night switch, Special
function and Factory default settings. And the Special function
contains image mirror, sharpness, Slow AE, FNR, AGC, Gama
setting, high definition setting, chroma suppress and edge color
suppress.

the exposure level can be 0, or optional in 5~31 continuous.
yBacklight: On, Off. When turn on the BLC, the level of BLC can
be set.

selected in “Manual” BWC mode list.
yManual BWC mode: color and B/W mode optional. Color: the
video is in color, B/W: the video is in black and white.
Special Functions:
yMirror mode: Off, H-mirror, V-mirror, HV-mirror.
ySharpness: 0~15 optional. The higher the value is, the better the
sharpness performance is.
ySlow AE: adjust the exposure time, with 1~48 optional. The
higher the value is, the longer the exposure time is, and vice
versa.
yFNR: Off, 1~7 levels optional.
yGain limit: set the auto gain limit, 8dB~34dB optional, 14 levels
adjustable.
yGamma Mode: appropriately increase the video quality by
brightening the dark part without influencing the bright part. 0~3
levels optional.
yLucidness: turn off the lucidness function or turn it on among
options of 1#, 2#, 3#, 4#, 5#, 6# and 7#.
yHigh Resolution: turn on / off the High Resolution mode. When
turn on the High Resolution mode, the image resolution will be
increased.
yChroma Suppress: in the low illumination conditions, the
Chroma Suppress function can remove the color noises. Low,
normal, medium, high levels are optional. The higher the level is,
the greater the suppress performance can be.
yEdge Color Suppress: There are 6 levels optional. At level 0, the
function is unavailable, and at level 5, the suppress performance
is the best.
yContrast: to adjust the image contrast, 0~100 adjustable.
yBrightness: to adjust the image brightness, 0~100 adjustable.
ySaturation: to adjust the color saturation, 0~14 adjustable.
yPower Frequency: 50Hz, 60Hz.
3.4.3 V1772N-30T2S Camera Settings
For V1772N-30T2S series domes, click “Camera” tab to display the
interface below. The basic items include: zoom, focus, iris, white
balance, exposure, day/night, special functions and factory default
etc.
