It's easy to connect your computer or video player to the
LP260 and start presenting.
Adjust the height or focus of the image. Refer to the for more information.LP260 User's Guide
To connect a computer, plug one end of the VGA cable into the
video connector on your computer and the other end into the Computer In connector
on the projector. If you want sound with your presentation, connect the audio cable.
NOTE: If you are connecting an older Macintosh computer that does not have aVGA 15-pin
connector, you must use Mac adaptors.
Plug the power cord into the projector and into an electrical outlet. Press the Power button
on the keypad or remote to turn the projector on.
Position the projector the desired distance from the screen to get
the desired image size.
If necessary, access the menus by pressing the menu button on the keypad or remote and use
the point buttons to further adjust the image.

3Turn on your computer or video player.
If you're using a laptop, activate its external video by pressing
the correct activation commands (sometimes the activation
button is labeled with an icon like ).

Safety Terms:
•Warning: Don’t look directly into the lens when the projector is turned on.
•Warning: Don’t block ventilation openings.
•Warning: To replace the lamp, turn the power off and unplug the
power cord. To avoid burns, wait 45 minutes before opening the
lamp door. Follow all instructions provided in the User’s Guide.
•Warning: Please use the power cord provided. Connect the power
cord to a receptacle with a protective safety (earth) ground terminal.
•Warning: Refer all service to qualified service personnel. Servicing your
own projector will void the warranty. See below for the customer service
contact information.
•Caution: Don’t set liquids on the projector. Spilled liquids may damage your
projector.
•Caution: Don’t place the projector on a hot surface or in direct sunlight.
•Caution: Do not drop the projector. Transport the projector in an InFocus-
approved case; see the Appendix of the User’s Guide for a list of cases.
