Grazie per aver acquistato il tostapane INN-742 con pinze per tostare in modo più semplice e
facilitare l’inserimento e l’estrazione del toast. Prima dell’uso, leggere attentamente tutte le
avvertenze e le istruzioni d’uso e conservare il presente manuale per future consultazioni.
IMPORTANTI NORME DI SICUREZZA E AVVERTENZE
Quando si utilizzano apparecchi elettrici, è
necessario seguire sempre con attenzione
alcune precauzioni di sicurezza, incluse le
seguenti:
• Prima di utilizzare l’apparecchio, leggere
attentamente le istruzioni per l’uso e in
particolare le avvertenze sulla sicurezza,
attenendosi ad esse. Conservare il presente
manuale, per l’intera durata di vita
dell’apparecchio, a scopo di consultazione.
• La mancata osservanza delle istruzioni

• ll presente apparecchio deve essere
utilizzato unicamente per lo scopo per cui è
stato progettato, ovvero come TOSTAPANE
per uso domestico e non deve essere
utilizzato nelle zone per cucinare riservate
al personale in negozi, uffici e altri luoghi
di lavoro, in fattorie, da clienti di hotel,
motel, bed and breakfast e altri ambienti
professionali e luoghi simili. Qualsiasi altro
utilizzo è considerato non conforme e

pertanto pericoloso.
• Gli elementi di imballaggio (sacchetti
di plastica, cartone, polistirolo ecc.) non
devono essere lasciati alla portata dei
bambini in quanto potenziali fonti di
pericolo e devono essere smaltiti secondo
quanto previsto dalle normative vigenti.
• Dopo aver rimosso l’apparecchio dalla
confezione, controllare l’eventuale
presenza di danni da trasporto e l’integrità
della fornitura in base al disegno. In caso
di danneggiamenti o dubbi sull’effettiva
integrità, non utilizzare l’apparecchio
e rivolgersi al servizio di assistenza
autorizzato.
• Non usare l’apparecchio se il cavo o la spina
risultano danneggiati.
• Prima di collegare l’apparecchio, controllare
che i dati della tensione di rete riportati
sulla etichetta dati corrispondano a quelli
della rete elettrica disponibile. L’etichetta
dati si trova sull’apparecchio stesso.
• Non immergere mai l’apparecchio in acqua
o altri liquidi.
• Durante il primo utilizzo, il tostapane
potrebbe emettere un leggero fumo che
si attenuerà fino a scomparire nel giro di
5-10 minuti. Questo è del tutto normale.

Prima di utilizzare il tostapane per la prima
volta, si consiglia di mettere in funzione
l’apparecchio per alcuni minuti senza
inserire il pane al suo interno.
• ATTENZIONE: Latemperaturadelle superfici
metalliche accessibili può essere elevata
quando l’apparecchio è in funzione. Non
toccare le superfici calde, utilizzare gli
appositi manici o delle presine.
• Non utilizzare il prodotto all’esterno.
• Utilizzare solo il pane pretagliato
appositamente per il tostapane.
• L’utilizzo di piccole fette di pane (dimensioni
inferiori a 85x85mm) può causare rischio di
scottature.
• Non introdurre nel tostapane cibi di
eccessive dimensioni, fogli o contenitori
di alluminio o utensili in metallo. Questo
potrebbe provocare uno shock elettrico.
• Il pane può bruciare, di conseguenza non
utilizzare il tostapane vicino a tendaggi,
mobili imbottiti o altri rivestimenti in
tessuto, potrebbero facilmente incendiarsi.
• Non posizionare il prodotto vicino a fornelli
elettrici o a gas o forni riscaldati.
• Non utilizzare in presenza di gas
infiammabili o esplosivi.
• Non rimuovere il cibo dal tostapane quando

la leva di sollevamento è abbassata.
• Non utilizzare accessori diversi da quelli
forniti in dotazione.
• Non utilizzare il prodotto se è caduto a terra,
se ci sono segni visibili di danneggiamento.
• Non tirare il cavo di rete per sollevare,
trasportare o togliere la spina dalla presa
di corrente.
• Assicurarsi che il cavo non presenti nodi o
piegature.
• Verificare lo stato del cavo elettrico, cavi
danneggiati o annodati aumentano il
rischio di scossa elettrica.
• Non utilizzare la spina o il cavo con le mani
o i piedi bagnati o umidi.
• Se il cavo di alimentazione è danneggiato,
esso deve essere sostituito dal produttore o
dal centro di assistenza tecnica autorizzato,
in modo da prevenire ogni rischio.
• In caso di guasto o di cattivo funzionamento
dell’apparecchio spegnerlo e non
manometterlo. Per l’eventuale riparazione
rivolgersi al servizio di assistenza tecnica
autorizzato.
• Questo apparecchio può essere utilizzato
da bambini di 8 anni in su e da persone
con ridotte capacità fisiche sensoriali o
mentali o con mancanza di esperienza e di

conoscenza se sotto sorveglianza oppure se
hanno ricevuto delle istruzioni riguardanti
l’utilizzo dell’apparecchio in sicurezza e se
capiscono i pericoli implicati. Le operazioni
di pulizia e manutenzione non devono
essere effettuate dai bambini a meno che
non abbiano più di 8 anni e siano sotto
supervisione. Tenere l’apparecchio e il suo
cavo fuori dalla portata di bambini con età
inferiore a 8 anni.
• Questo prodotto non è un giocattolo.
Assicurarsi che i bambini non giochino con
l’apparecchio.
• Non capovolgere il prodotto mentre è in
funzione o è collegato alla rete.
• Questo prodotto è stato concepito per il
solo uso DOMESTICO, non è stato concepito
per uso industriale o professionale.
• Non lasciare mai il prodotto incustodito
quando è in funzione.
• Riporre in un ambiente asciutto privo di
polvere, lontano dalla luce diretta del sole
e da fonti dirette di calore.
• Questo apparecchio non è destinato ad
essere utilizzato tramite timer esterni o
sistemi di controllo remoto.
• L’apparecchio deve essere collegato ad una
presa con un conduttore di terra. La spina

dell’apparecchio deve entrare nella presa
perfettamente. Non alterare in alcun modo
la spina. Non usare adattatori.

DESCRIZIONE DEL PRODOTTO
1.Collocare il tostapane su una superficie piana, asciutta e stabile lontano da fonti di calore.
2.Inserire il pane o il toast nelle apposite pinze e poi nel tostapane.
3.Collegare il tostapane alla presa di corrente, facendo attenzione che il voltaggio richiesto
dal prodotto corrisponda a quello della rete locale.
4.Impostare il livello di doratura tramite l’apposita manopola (D).
5.Abbassare la leva (B). La leva resterà abbassata fino a quando la fase di tostatura non sarà
completata.
6.Per interrompere la tostatura, premere il tasto STOP (C), che cancellerà le precedenti
impostazioni. Rimuovere il toast o le fette tramite le apposite pinze in dotazione.
7.Se il toast si è attaccato alle pareti del toaster, disconnettere il tostapane dalla rete e lasciarlo
raffreddare. PER RIMUOVERE IL PANE, NON USARE UTENSILI IN METALLO.
PULIZIA E MANUTENZIONE
• Prima di procedere con qualsiasi operazione di pulizia e manutenzione, scollegare
l’apparecchio dalla rete elettrica e lasciare che si raffreddi completamente.
• Non immergere il tostapane in acqua o altri liquidi.
• Non utilizzare spugne o tessuti abrasivi per pulire il tostapane o le pinze.
• Non utilizzare spray o applicare detergenti direttamente sulle pareti o dentro il tostapane.
• Pulire la superficie esterna del tostapane con un panno morbido inumidito con acqua e
asciugare accuratamente.
• Dopo ogni utilizzo, lavare le pinze a mano, utilizzando un normale detersivo per i piatti,
facendo attenzione ad asciugarle bene prima di riporle. Non utilizzare detergenti aggressivi
o abrasivi.
• Dopo la pulizia attendere alcuni minuti prima di utilizzare il tostapane per far asciugare
completamente le pareti esterne.
• Tutte le attività di riparazione o altre attività di manutenzione devono essere effettuate da
un centro assistenza autorizzato.
VASSOIO RACCOGLI BRICIOLE
Il tostapane è dotato di un vassoio raccogli-briciole estraibile in modo da riuscire a rimuovere
i residui di briciole facilmente. Assicurarsi sempre che il tostapane sia scollegato e si sia
raffreddato prima di rimuovere il vassoio raccoglibriciole. Pulire il vassoio raccoglibriciole con
un panno umido e asciugare completamente prima di inserirlo nuovamente nel tostapane.

Il simbolo del cassonetto barrato riportato sull’apparecchiatura indica che il
prodotto alla fine della propria vita utile deve essere raccolto separatamente
dagli altri rifiuti.
L’utente dovrà, pertanto, conferire l’apparecchiatura integra dei componenti essenziali giunta
a fine vita agli idonei centri di raccolta differenziata dei rifiuti elettronici ed elettrotecnici,
oppure riconsegnarla al rivenditore al momento dell’acquisto di nuova apparecchiatura di
tipo equivalente, in ragione di uno a uno, oppure 1 a zero per le apparecchiature aventi
lato maggiore inferiore a 25CM. L’adeguata raccolta differenziata per l’avvio successivo
dell’apparecchiatura dimessa al riciclaggio, al trattamento e allo smaltimento ambientale
compatibile contribuisce ad evitare possibili effetti negativi sull’ambiente e sulla salute e
favorisce il riciclo dei materiali di cui è composta l’apparecchiatura. Lo smaltimento abusivo
del prodotto da parte dell’utente comporta l’applicazione delle sanzioni amministrative di cui
al D.Lgs n. Decreto Legislativo N° 49 del 14 Marzo 2014.

Thank you for purchasing toaster INN-742 with pliers, an easy-to-use but reliable tool to
toast more easily and facilitate the insertion and removal of toast. Before use, read all the
instructions and warnings carefully and keep this user manual safe for future use.
IMPORTANT SAFETY NORMS AND WARNINGS
When using electrical appliances, certain
safety precautions should always be followed
carefully, including the following:
• Please read the instructions of use and
safetynormsbefore usingthe applianceand
follow these at all times. Keep this manual
with the appliance for future consultation
for all the product life. Failure to comply
with the use and maintenance instructions
provided in this user manual could lead to
an accident and will invalidate all and any
rights to the manufacturer’s warranty.
• This appliance must only be used for the
purpose for which it was designed, that is
as a TOASTER for household use and must
not be used in areas for cooking reserved
for personnel in shops, offices and other
workplaces, on farms, by hotels, motels,
bed and breakfasts and other professional
environments and similar places. Any other
use is considered improper and therefore
dangerous.
• Keep all packing material (plastic bags,
cardboard, polystyrene, etc..) out of reach

of the children, since they are potential
sources of danger and must be disposed of
as provided by law.
• After having removed the appliance from
its packaging, verify its integrity based on
the drawing and any presence of damage
caused by transport. If in doubt, do not use
the appliance and contact an authorised
service centre.
• Do not use the appliance if the cable or
plug is damaged.
• Make sure that the voltage indicated on
the rating label matches the mains voltage
before plugging in the appliance. The rating
label is on the bottom of the product.
• Do not immerse the product in water or
other liquids.
• During the first use, the toaster may emit
a slight smoke that will disappear within
5-10 minutes. This is completely normal.
Before using the toaster for the first
time, it is advisable to put the appliance
into operation for few minutes without
inserting the bread inside.
• CAUTION: Temperature of accessible parts
might be very high during operation. Do
not touch hot surfaces, use handles or
special oven gloves.

• Do not use the product outdoors.
• Use only pre-cut bread for toaster.
• The use of small bread slices (size smaller
than 85x85mm) might increase the risk of
burn.
• Do not put into the toaster oversize food,
aluminum sheets or containers or metal
tools. This may cause an electric shock.
• Bread can burn, so do not use the toaster
near curtains, upholstery or other fabrics,
which could easily catch fire.
• Do not place the product near electric or
gas cooker or heated oven.
• Do not use in the presence of flammable or
explosive gases.
• Do not remove food from the toaster when
the side lever is lowered.
• Only use the accessories provided.
• Do not use the product if it has fallen down
or if there are visible signs of damage.
• Do not pull the power cable to lift, carry or
remove the plug from the socket.
• Make sure that the cable does not have
knots or bends.
• Check the condition of the electric cable,
damaged or knotted cables increase the
risk of electric shock.
• Do not use the plug or cord with wet or

damp hands or feet.
• If the power cord is damaged, it must
be replaced by the manufacturer or by
an authorized service center, in order to
prevent any risk.
• In case of fault or malfunctioning of the
appliance, switch it off and do not tamper
with it. If the device needs to be repaired,
contact an authorised technical assistance
centre.
• This appliance can be used by children
aged from 8 years and above and persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge if they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance in a safe way and
understand the hazards involved. Cleaning
and maintenance operations must not be
performed by children without supervision.
Keep the product and its cable out of reach
of children under 8 years old.
• This product is not a TOY. Children should
be supervised to ensure that they do not
play with the appliance.
• Do not turn the appliance over while it is in
use or connected to the mains.
• This product has been conceived for

professional or industrial use.
• Never leave the product unattended when
in use.
• Store the appliance in a dry place, free from
dust, far from heating sources or direct
sunlight.
• This product is not intended to be used
with timer or remote controlling systems.
• The appliance must be connected to an
outlet with a protective earthing. The plug
must fit into the mains socket properly. Do
not alter the plug. Do not use adaptors.

OPERATION
1.Place the toaster on a flat, dry and stable surface out of reach of heat sources.
2.Place the bread into the pliers and then put the pliers into the toaster.
3.Plug the toaster to the socket, making sure the voltage shown on the rating label
corresponds to the local mains voltage.
4.Set the browning level using the knob (D).
5.Press the Lever down (B). The lever will remain down until the bread is toasted.
6.If you want to stop the toasting process, press the STOP button (C), that will automatically
delete the previous settings. Remove the toast using the provided pliers.
7.If the bread sticks in the toaster, unplug it, wait for it to cool down, then remove the bread.
NEVER USE METAL UTENSILS TO REMOVE THE BREAD.
CLENANING AND MAINTENANCE
• Unplug the appliance from the mains and wait until it has completely cooled down before
proceeding with any cleaning or maintenance operation.
• Do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.
• Do not use coarse or abrasive sponges/cloths or steel wool to clean the toaster or pliers.
• Do not use spray or apply cleaner directly onto or into the toaster.
• Clean the outside of the toaster with a soft, damp cloth, and polished with a soft and dry
cloth.
• After each use, wash the pliers by hand, using a normal dishwashing detergent, being
careful to dry them well before storing them. Do not use aggressive or abrasive detergents.
• After cleaning, wait few minutes to let the outer walls to be completely dry before using
the toaster.
• All repair activities or other maintenance activities must be performed by an authorized
service center.
CRUMB TRAY
The toaster is equipped with a removable crumb tray so that you can remove the crumbs
easily. Always make sure the toaster is unplugged and cooled before removing the crumb
tray. Clean the crumb tray with a damp cloth and dry completely before placing it back into
the toaster.

INFORMATION TO USERS according to Legislative Decree No. 49 of March 14,
2014 “ 2012/19/UE Implementation of the Directive on Waste Electrical and
Electronic Equipment (WEEE) “
The crossed-out dustbin symbol indicates that the product at the end of its life
must be collected separately from other waste.
The user should, therefore, take the equipment with the essential components at the end
of its useful life to the separate collection center of electronic and electrical waste, or return
it to the retailer when purchasing new equipment of equivalent type, in ratio of one to
one, or one to zero for devices with larger side less than 25 CM. The separate collection for
the decommissioned equipment for recycling, treatment and environmentally compatible
disposal contributes to avoid possible negative effects on the environment and human health
and promotes recycling of the materials. Improper disposal of the product by the user entails
the application of administrative sanctions according to Legislative Decree No. 49 of 14 March
2014.
