Defibrillation with Patches
•Switch on the device
Connect Patch cable at the front of the
defibrillator
Select Manual Mode
Check the expiry date at the patch,
open patch packet, check the patches
and attach them to the patient's chest
Connect the patch connector to the
patch cable. The blue and white parts
must be matched
Check that there is no sync mode at the
top of the screen
Select energy level with the Energy +/-
soft buttons at the front panel of the
device
Press Action button at the front panel of
the device and wait until the charging is
completed
Push Action button at the front panel to
deliver the shock to the patient

Asynchronous Manual Cardioversion
with Patches
•Switch on the device
Connect Patch cable at the front of the
defibrillator
Select Manual Mode
Check the expiry date of the ECG
electrodes and attach them to the patient
Connect ECG cable at the front of the
defibrillator and connect the lead wires to
the ECG electrodes
Check the expiry date at the patch, open
patch packet, check the patches and
attach them to the patient's chest
Connect the patch connector to the patch
cable
Push Sync On soft button
Check that sync mode is displayed at the
top of the screen
Set up Latched or Non-Latched mode with
the Menu buttons in the Sync Menu
Select the appropriate ECG lead with good
quality signal. Observe the 'S' sync
markers on the screen above the ECG
curve
Select energy level with the Energy +/- soft
buttons at the front panel of the device
PressAction button at the front panel of the
device and wait until the charging is
completed
Push and hold down Action button at the
front panel, until the shock is delivered. Do
not release Shock buttons until the shock is
delivered!
