Press once to power on or to
take measurement.
Press for about 3-4 seconds
to power off.
Unit button
To switch unit of
measurement between
Celsius and Fahrenheit.

To enter Memory mode.
Sound button
To turn sound on and off.

easuring Forehead Temperature
Step 1: Press the
Power/Measure button to
turn the thermometer on.
Step 2: The Forehead
measurement mode ( )
is selected by default.
Step 3: Point
thermometer
perpendicular to and at
the center of the forehead,
just above the eyebrow.
Bring thermometer closer
towards the forehead until
Note: Make sure both user and thermometer have
remained at a constant ambient temperature for at
least 30 minutes.

“good” registers on the screen and auto distance
i
ndicator ( ) disappears. This means
d
istance is appropriate (within 2” or 5cm). You will
h
ear a beep and the blue tracking light will
a
ctivate.

ote: If “good” does not register, adjust the angle
o
f the thermometer and repeat Step 3 above.

nce. Reading will be

isplayed in about 1

econd.

tep 5: To take next

easurement, wait until

olor coded ring stops

lowing. Press the

ower/Measure button

nce and screen will

how “- - - -” with auto
d
istance indicator
(
) on and blinking unit (°F or °C). Repeat
Step 3 and Step 4 above to continue with
measurement.
Step 6: To power off, press the Power/Measure
button for about 3-4 seconds. Alternatively, if no
activity is detected, device will also power off
automatically in 30 seconds.
