2.5 Programming
The programming of the Opendor air components is described in the IF-6040 documentation.
The programming of the Opendor card components is described in the Interflex offline components
document.
3 Operation
The following sections describe the operation of the IF-261 Cabinet Lock. The technical basics can be
found in the separate document
1. Hold the credential in front of the lock.
If the credential is authorized, the LED will flash green briefly and the lock is opened.
Depending on the configuration, the Cabinet Lock is automatically locked after the closing time has
elapsed or it remains unlocked until a new booking is made.
If the bolt is blocked, e.g., due to the door not being fully closed, it retracts again.
3.1 Opening a door
To open a door that is secured with an Opendor component, hold the credential in the read area of the
Opendor component.
Depending on the configuration, the Door Handle is automatically locked after the closing time
has elapsed or it remains unlocked until a new booking is made.
LEDs and tone indicated the status of the booking:

If you are using a credential with the Permanently open function, only hold the credential in front
of the reader unit as long as the LEDs are flashing. Otherwise, the permanently open operating
mode is activated.
3.2 Activating/deactivating the permanently open mode
The Opendor component provides for the Permanently open operating mode. In this operating mode, the
door can be opened without further bookings.
Activation and deactivation of the permanently open mode requires a credential that has been
activated for this function.
Activating the permanently open mode
uHold the credential up to the reader unit for more than three seconds
The Opendor component indicates the Permanently open On log file entry:
3 x green Standard + Permanently open
Green Permanently open
Deactivating the permanently open mode
uHold the credential up to the reader unit for more than three seconds
The Opendor component indicates the Permanently open Off log file entry:
Green/green/red Standard + Permanently open
Red Permanently open
In case of credentials that only have the Permanently open function, the activation / deactivation takes
place immediately after the reader unit has read the credential.
4 Maintenance, cleaning, and disinfection
NOTICE
