AFFLOVEST USE INFORMATION
◻ Familiarize yourself with the user manual and quick start card
◻ Put the AffloVest on and buckle.
◻ Fit and sizing vary from person to person
◻ Using the front adjustment straps, the AffloVest should fit very snugly on the chest, but
not limit the patient’s ability to take in a full, deep breath
◻ If needed, adjust the shoulder snaps to place the front upper AffloVest oscillation
motors on the upper chest just below the collar bone
◻ A 1 inch (2.5 cm) overlap of the vertical black seams on the front of the AffloVest is
acceptable for all sizes.
◻ A 1to 5inch (2.5 – 13 cm) gap between the two sides of the AffloVest is also
acceptable for all sizes
◻ Zippers on the inside are for factory service only. DO NOT OPEN. Opening voids
warranty
BATTERY
◻ IMPORTANT- Please verify the baery is fully charged before first use
◻ Baery is pre-installed in baery pocket, no connections are required to start using
the AffloVest
◻ To check charge level of baery, press white buon on the baery to illuminate Green
LED’s
CHARGING BATTERY
◻ Plug in A/C Power Supply to wall outlet and ensure LED on power supply comes ON to
indicate proper operation of power supply
◻ Connect power supply to charging port on baery, towards boom of baery pouch.
◻ Baery LED’s will light up (wait approximately 10 seconds) indicating that baery is
now charging
◻ Charge until all the Green LED’s are solid on the baery. This should take
approximately three (3) hours.
◻ When charging, the Green LED will blink indicating current charge level
◻ Unplug baery/charger from outlet when fully charged
◻ Will last at least 2hours on the highest seing
Baery fully charged – All 5LED bars should be lit aer pressing
buon on baery

AC POWER SUPPLY/BATTERY CHARGER
◻ AC Power Supply/Baery Charger – Will charge AffloVest
baery, even if AffloVest is in use.
◻ Power Consumption is approximately 30 Wa
◻ Designed for use with AC voltage of 100-240VAC ,
1.5 Amps, 50-60Hz
◻ Open baery compartment and
disconnect baery as shown
CONTROL MODULE
◻ To power On/Off the AffloVest, press and hold the buon
on the controller. Aer a brief startup period, the controller will
display the main treatment menu
Power buon is on top le of controller, press and hold a minimum
of (2) seconds until the screen, like to the right, appears
HOW TO DISCONNET/CONNECT BATTERY (If needed)
◻ Plug baery back in, controller
should beep twice when initially
plugged back in to the baery
CHARGING BATTERY Cont.
◻ It is not recommended to start a treatment if only one Green LED is illuminated on the
baery; the baery may not last through a full treatment
◻ If a fully charged baery has been unplugged from charger for approx. 30 days,
please check the charge level of the baery before aempting to use. If necessary,
charge the baery appropriately.
◻ A baery indicator on the controller will blink when the baery is geing low and has
approximately 30 minutes of use remaining

◻ Treatments may be started at any time by pressing the buon (play/pause) from
the main treatment menu. Pressing the following buons will update the treatment
whether the Afflovest is running or not.
○ “P” – Percussion Mode, all motors operate in a pulsed fashion.
○ “V” – Vibration Mode, all motors operate continuously.
○ “D” – Drainage Mode, motors operate in a pre-programmed sequential fashion.
○ “Go” – Automatically starts the Go mode, the system will perform the following
treatment sequentially (by default):
■ Percussion Mode, 10 minute duration at medium intensity (followed by a 10 second pause)
■ Vibration Mode, 10 minute duration at medium intensity (followed by a 10 second pause)
■ Drainage Mode, 10 minute duration at medium intensity
◻ The Afflovest will start off in the medium intensity mode by default. Pressing the
following buons will update the treatment whether the Afflovest if running or not.
○ HIGH Intensity
○ MEDIUM Intensity
○ LOW Intensity
◻ While treatment is running, the Afflovest may be paused by pressing the buon
(Pause/Play). This shall suspend treatment until the buon (Pause/Play) buon
is pressed again. While the system is paused, press and hold buon for two (2)
seconds to reset the treatment duration to the previous seing.
◻ Highlighted (Box 1-4) indicate active treatment zone
◻ Highlighted (Perc, Vib, Drain) indicate the current active program

MENU NAVIGATION
◻ Press the “UP” and “DOWN” buons to navigate through the menus on the controller.
To change the values, press the “RIGHT” and “LEFT” buons while the values are
highlighted.
◻ To navigate to the “Program Menu” or “Usage Menu”, navigate to the desired menu
selection, press the buon (Play/Pause) to navigate to that menu
PROGRAM MENU
◻ Navigating to the programs menu, allows the user to modify
the default “Go” treatment seings
◻ Modify the seings as desired within the following allowable
ranges
○ Treatment Type: Percussion, Vibration, Drainage
○ Treatment Time: 5 – 15 minutes
○ Treatment Intensity: Low, Medium, High
◻ Select “Save” and press the buon (Play/Pause) to save the seings. To exit
without saving select “Cancel” and press the buon (Play/Pause).
◻ The next time the “Go” buon is pressed from the Main Menu the new treatment
seings will be run.
USAGE MENU
◻ Navigating to the usage menu, allows the user to view the run-time information
◻ Press the buon (Play/Pause) to return to the main menu
CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
◻ When there is visible soilage, and also between patient uses in multi-patient care
environments, we recommend that you disinfect the unit. Use an Environmental
Protection Agency (EPA) registered (US only), tuberculocidal disinfectant or standard
household, mild, anti-bacterial soap or solution.
◻ Dilute the disinfectant as specified on the manufacturer’s label.
◻ See Owner’s Manual for more detailed instructions
◻ Do Not Machine Wash
FLYING WITH THE AFFLOVEST
◻ When flying with the AffloVest, you may check the AffloVest in its carry case or bring
on the aircra as a carry on. Using as a carry on depends on aircra size and airline
policy.
◻ Most airlines do not count medical devices against the carry on limit per passenger.
Check with your specific air carrier for details.
◻ If checking the AffloVest, the Lithium Ion baery must be removed from the AffloVest
and put in your carry on
◻ The AffloVest is not intended for use during flight
