ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
Do not assemble while plugged into power.
1. Insert stand base (1) into other end of tube. Use the stand handle (2) to position the
lamp to the desired angle. Insert and tighten angle adjustment knob (3).
2. Lamp angle may be altered simply by loosening the angle adjustment knob (3),
moving the stand handle to bring the lamp to the desired angle, then tightening the angle fixing knob.
INSERTING OR REPLACING HALOGEN LAMP
Important: Ensure unit is disconnected from power point. Allow time for unit to cool before handling.
1. Unscrew retaining screw on top of lamp. This will release the protective grid, front
surround and glass faceplate.
2. Lower front surround down. It will be retained by the hinges.
3. To insert halogen globe, unwrap globe, taking care your fingers do not touch the
globe. Use wrapping to handle the globe. Push one end of globe into either of the
spring-loaded sockets. Locate other end on other socket, & release.
4. Carefully replace front surround, making sure that it is correctly positioned.
Screw up tightly.
Recommended replacement tube is Intex #SHT50, 500 Watt Tungsten Halogen
Lamp or similar 118mm long halogen lamps.

Do not touch when in operation. Turn power off and allow unit to cool before touching.
- Do not use in potentially dangerous locations, such as flammable or explosive situations.
- Do not use within 50mm of combustible material.
- Do not plug in this lamp or touch the unit with wet hands or whilst standing on damp
ground or water. This may cause electrocution.
- Do not open the lamp when it is on. Turn off and allow time to cool before touching.
- Ensure lamp is plugged into a well maintained weather protected power point.
- Ensure lead and plug are in good condition before use.
- Do not operate with cracked or missing glass face.
- Do not allow children to play in its proximity.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
2 x 500 Watt (150 Watt) (TWIN HEAD)
1. Unpack fixture and place all parts on a smooth surface.
2. Mount each of the 2 fixtures to the cross bar in Fig. 1.
a. Put the washer between the U bracket of the fixture and the bar to allow the fixture to turn without
scratching the bar as shown in Fig. 1.
b. Be sure not to over-tighten the adjusting knob.
c. Both fixtures can be mounted in the same manner.
3. Mount the fixture assembly bar to the top of the telescope pole by butting one washer on the top of
the bar then tighten the centre knob as shown in Fig. 2. Be sure not to over-tighten the centre knob.
4. The tripod legs are adjustable to up or down position by loosening the knob as shown in Fig. 3. Do not
adjust the legs by force because they should move easily to desired position.
5. Adjust the telescope pole to desired height by loosening and tightening lock nuts located at the top of
each extension as shown in Fig. 4.
6. The fixture is now ready for use.

Follow the same instructions as 2 X 500W except that point 2 & 3 change to as following:
Mount the fixture assembly to the top of the telescope pole by turning centre knob clockwise until
secure as shown in Fig. 5. Do not over-tighten the centre knob.
***WARNING***
1. This fixture is GS listed and safe when used in a careful manner.
2. Fixture heads get very hot and should not be used within 18” of combustible materials such as paper,
cardboard, wood or fabric to avoid starting a fire.
3. Do not use this fixture near combustible materials such as gasoline to avoid explosion. Always
unplug the fixture before doing any work or when changing the bulb.
4. In event that you need to move the fixture to the next job site or change a bulb, ample time should be
given to cool as fixture head gets very hot.
5. Never point the fixture directly at a person’s eyes.
6. Do not touch the halogen bulb when installing it in the fixture as oil from your skin will shorten the
bulb life significantly. Best to use a clean cloth to install the bulb.
7. Never touch the fixture when power is on because surface is hot and can cause severe burns.
***BULB INSTALLATION***
1. Use max. 500W T-3 halogen bulb.
2. Disconnect power and allow bulb to cool prior to installation.
3. Use screwdriver to release the frame and remove old bulb. Push gently toward the right side of the
socket until left side is clear from socket and can be removed by moving forward.
4. To install bulb, only use clean gloves or cloth. Fit the bulb into side goes into its socket, allow left end
to be inserted into left hand side of socket.
5. Never turn power on with hinge door open.
