contactwithsuchsubstancesitshouldbecleaned
offwithadampclothpriortoconnectingittothe
compressor.
–NEVERoilorlubricatethecompressorcoupleror
cylinderfittings.NEVERuseanypenetratingoil
orlubricantsuchasWD-40®or3-in-1Oil®.If
connectiondifficultyisexperiencedverifythatthe
cylinderfittingisbeinginsertedstraightdowninto
thecompressorcoupler.Ifcontinueddifficultyis
experiencedcontactyoursupplierforassistance.
–Keeptheoxygentubing,cord,andunitawayfrom

unacceptableorunsafeforuse.
2.Examinethecylinderforevidenceoffireorthermaldamage.
Evidenceincludescharringorblisteringofthepaint,orother
protectivecoatingorheatsensitiveindicator.Iffireorthermal
damageisfound,replacethecylinder.
3.Inspectthecylinder/regulatorassemblyforthefollowing,and
replaceiffound:
•Debris,oilorgrease
•Noticeablesignsofdamage
•Signsofcorrosioninsidethevalve
•Signsofexcessiveheatorfiredamage
